The Scotsman Pub Restaurant
“For a small little pub/restaurant down some side roads. The food was amazing. I can’t fault a single dish and I tried a lot. Food came out hot and fresh. I’m on the hunt for the best grill place and so far this is the best. Well done Scotsman.”
The Lamb
“Amazing food, the best part! Decent collection of drinks. Nice little pub in a busy area. The staff are polite and cheerful.”
The White Lion
“Friendly and helpful service. Old school pub with nice patrons. Would recommend a pint here if you are in the area.”
The Moon & Sixpence - JD Wetherspoon
“Love this place. Dog friendly, reasonably priced, friendly service, cosy and old school. Great music and vegan options. Thoroughly recommend.”
The Case is Altered
“Love this pub, a beautiful big garden and one of the few traditional pubs left in Harrow. Had a meal here today, first time since the new chef started, and it was amazing. The roast potatoes were absolutely to die for. Very friendly and helpful staff too, we had a lovely relaxing Sunday lunch. We will definitely be back!”
The Victoria
“Visited for a family meal. Wonderful atmosphere, close to station & beautiful decor. Best of all the staff were incredibly welcoming, kind and attentive - and served some great hearty food.”
The Prince of Wales, Surbiton
“The pub is just in the high street. Staff was amazing, the place is cozy, a big TV streaming all the futball matches. The portions of the starters are very good!! Totally recommend this place.”
The Surbiton Flyer
“Lovely pub, staff are lovely. I got a little drunk with my friends and dropped a glass, which was embarrassing, but the guy was so tolerant of my drunkenness (thank you) I will say, although the pub is lovely, the toilets are stinky (pee), which is the only thing. Apologies for dropping a glass!!”
St Margarets Tavern
“Great staff, very reasonably and serve good beer. No issues if you ask for a top up etc. I usually find that an issue in pubs. Anyway this pub should be proud of its etiquette, really excellent. My dad played for the football team in 1974 and still drinks in here. One of the few fullers pubs they haven't ruined - good work team who work there.”
Barretts Freehouse
“Friendly place, very handy for the nearby station. The Guinness was top notch. Well worth a visit.”
Cricketers Inn
“Popped in for some food and a drink. It was very busy but the team were fab and food was great. We had Kerry and Cam serving us who couldn’t of made us feel more welcome if they tried. Really enjoyed our visit and will definitely be coming back.”
The Fox & Duck
“We ordered pigs in blankets, siracha chicken sandwich, fries with parmesan and truffle oil and halloumi. The food was delicious and the staff very friendly. Will definitely visit again!”
The Castlebar
“Went there for a birthday party. Beer, food and ambiance all great”
The Ram
“This is a nice and cosy pub along the river. We visited at the end of a shopping trip, its just outside the shopping area, so a little calmer. We were able to find seats inside and order a couple of drinks before leaving for dinner. There is a good selection of drinks, the staff are friendly, the service was good and the facilities were decent. We would visit again, especially in the summer to try sitting outside by the river.”
One Over the Ait, Kew Bridge
“Went for a meal before the rugby yesterday. Some of the nicest food I’ve had in a restaurant. Starter of lamb koftas was delicious and the main course of steak and ale pie with mash and greens just as good. Unfortunately we had no room left for dessert! Will be back again.”
Bulls Head
“Excellent Sunday roast and friendly staff. One of my favourite pubs in the area. Definitely recommend.”
J.J. Moon's - JD Wetherspoon
“And another wonderful 'spoons. Bar on the right as you enter, booths down the left and high and low tables elsewhere. A small smoking area out the back. The pub was clean and tidy and the staff were excellent: friendly and polite. The Guinness was excellent”
Ye Olde Red Lion
“Took my family here for dinner, it was amazing. Food was great, pub has a lovely atmosphere, the staff were really friendly and helpful. Big shout out to Matt who gave us great service! We will definitely be back really soon!”
Sutton Arms
“Great little pub in an awesome spot. Fun and relaxing atmosphere, prices are cheap and friendly staff! Philippa was extremely accomodating and entertaining. Highly recommend!!”
The Six Bells, Brentford
“Reopened the beginning of May ‘22 with a new Landlady, refreshed inside and the beer garden is quaint with lots of hanging baskets and plants. No food or sport channels at this time. Nice sitting in the garden on a sunny evening. Dog friendly, Room to park bikes securely.”
The Duke's Head Putney
“We got married on the 02 September and couldn't recommend The Duke's Head more as a venue! The night before my wedding, when I was dropping off the decorations and the cake..etc. I met with Dorian and he was just fantastic. He was patient and took the time to listen to me and what I needed. He made me feel comfortable and reassured me that everything would be done and ready for the following day, which is priceless when you're at your most stressed. The only thing that The Dukes Head could have done better would have been if Dorian had been our point of contact through out the lead up as his one night outshone any other communication prior. The night of our wedding was a blast, the entire team were just amazing! Quinton, the manager, was on top of everything and made our evening one to remember. The staff were very attentive and remained friendly and willing to help all evening. They ensured that we always had a drink and were prompt with the food, which was very tasty! The highlight of their amazing service was the communication with myself and my wife. They checked times with us and were flexible if anything changed, such as speeches. The turn around from the sit down to dance floor was very quick, which was then followed by a fantastic evening buffet! The Coxwain room is so beautifully decorated it really didn't need much more, however with the original decor, everything we added and the extraordinary view out the windows both us and our guests were blown away.”
The Horseshoe
“I would give this place 5 star, purely due to the very friendly staff who welcomed us into the premises and the person who served us that night we went last week. This place was dog friendly, which was a plus and where very accommodating. I had a beef roast which was delicious. And my friend had a Vegetarian dish, I can’t remember what it was called now, but hopefully the picture helps you identify it.”
The Lord Nelson
“Small pub run by a lovely family with nice bar staff. Relaxed feel with very good karaoke on Tuesday nights.”
The Earlsfield Gastropub
“We visited a lot of times as it was one of our locals, Food is great. Service is friendly. Sunday roast is super super yummy ( best i the area for me) Quick for drinks. I never go at night here so dont know how it is, but for food is very very good.”
Leather Bottle
“Good place to relax with a glass of wine. They have table outside in the garden and an outdoor area with a good view and nice decoration”
The County Arms
“Dropped in by chance and was pleasantly surprised by the ambience and service. We ordered 3 burgers with all the trimmings with homemade chips for speed. We were well impressed by the presentation, speed and most importantly taste 10/10. Well worth a visit. PS. I tried an IPA from the barrel. Spot on!”
The Horse & Groom
“Great pub - very friendly welcome, great staff and atmosphere. Thanks for the Prosecco and donuts! Get yourself down to the Horse and Groom :-)”
The Castle, Tooting
“Beautiful decor. Very clean. Food - average. They could do much better with the desserts. Service can be quite poor at times especially over busy weekends. My review (above) was from a few years ago. I am very happy to say service was very good this time and food arrived quite promptly and tasted much better! The young staff members were polite and energetic, keeping up with the swelling crowds. There are plenty of toilet booths, again to accommodate the massive crowd and space. Hence the toilets remain clean as well. I have no hesitation to give a 5 stars rating.”
Spread Eagle Pub, Wandsworth
“Absolutely lovely way to spend a Sunday afternoon in this beautifully refurbished pub, enjoyed a perfectly chilled rosé and the most delicious pork roast, not to mention the jam roly poly just like ‘my mum used to make’- delicious! Attention to detail is fabulous, even down to the cutlery and crockery. Great service, couldn’t fault a thing and would thoroughly recommend- it’s also very dog friendly and the music playlist comfortably in the background was pretty good too! Well done and thanks to the team.”
The Bridge House
“Amazing atmosphere. Staff very friendly! Nice place to come to when the weather outside isn’t so nice!”
