"Really great value Sunday roast. Only 12.50 (we're Londoners and you can't get a bag of pork scratchings for less than a fiver!) - really fresh vegetables, a fair sized portion of sliced turkey, lovely gravy, really big crispy Yorkshire. Mash not the best but all-in, it's excellent value and very good. Staff also very friendly if you want to chat."

"Popped in for some food and a drink. It was very busy but the team were fab and food was great. We had Kerry and Cam serving us who couldn’t of made us feel more welcome if they tried. Really enjoyed our visit and will definitely be coming back."

"Great atmosphere for a pub dinner with friends. Bring by the fire was very cosy. It’s a dog friendly pub, also tonight they had a psychic night and it was so good. Food was good and fast. Free street parking outside. Recommended."

"We went for a last-minute early Saturday night dinner. The pub was not too busy and we found a table near the fire. The decor is very festive and cosy. Unfortunately I wanted to order the gammon which wasn't available so we both had the fish and chips which was very good. The staff were very welcoming. The music dominated though which made it hard to have a conversation. Overall a pleasant experience despite the couple of issues mentioned."

"Four of us ate here on a Thursday evening. It was very busy but we could order online and the staff simply brought us our food. I had cheese and mushrooms on toast with sweet potato fries. Very delicious, but a more generous helping of cheese and mushrooms would have been even better. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff."
