“This place has really taken a huge upward turn since the removal of the former manager and is now surely the only pub in Barnet to frequent. The food here is phenomenal, the Sunday roast is by far the best in the area and there’s a quiz night every Wednesday, what’s not to like? A special mention goes to the fantastic staff who are all warm, welcoming human beings with a great energy that have put the Black Horse right back where it should be.”

“Lovely Christmas meal with my son and his girlfriend. The food was piping hot, and the waitress service was spot on. The only thing that I didn't like was how cold the toilets were.... the hand washing water was icy cold, and the drier was blowing out even colder air! Apart from that, it was a lovely Christmasy afternoon, and we will definitely be going back”

“Needed to eat and saw this pub and gave it a try. I ordered the Veggie platter which was excellent. The portion was huge. My husband had a burger and a Guinness. Burgers only come well done but he enjoyed it. Staff were very nice. Helped us find a seat to be comfortable. It’s a cozy pub but a good one.”

The pub itself was a real gem. The decor was traditional and charming, and there was a great selection of drinks and food on offer. Overall, I can't recommend The Bald Faced Stag enough, and Asa in particular deserves special recognition for his exceptional service. “This is a proper boozer. One of the few remaining in London. Tracey and Adam behind the bar will make you feel welcome and the prices are amazingly low! Pool table, music, live sport. What more could you want!?! Fully recommend the Guinness too, which is even rarer!”

“I booked to take our team to Kelsey House bar & Kitchen for our Christmas social. We had the Christmas Buffet menu and it was delicious. I rate the whole experience from booking, ordering, service and food a 5 star. The waitresses were brilliant and friendly and the Christmas buffet menu was a great experience as each person could take what they wanted and every single main and side we chose was really nice. We all enjoyed it very much and we even got crackers on our table to start our social off with a great feel to it. Thank you very much to the whole team at Kelsey House Bar & Kitchen. “Really nice local English pub in Clerkenwell Green. Great spot to sit down and enjoy a beer if you’re around the area. Very spacious with tables distributed around two floors and outside sitting. The staff is helpful and friendly. Standard Menu with beer, wine and soft drinks, as for food, I’ve tried the “beyond meat” burger and fish & chips both were good, not a gastro-pub.”
