“This place has it all! Just listen to the sound of my posted videos :) The best flavour for Chinese food. Once a week they visit our campus at Reading Uni and serve us traditional, delicious dishes. It works like a lifesaver at uni to have such a special restaurant serving at hour place. I usually go with porkbelly or beef with noodles. The meat is always soft and incredibly good spiced. The noodles absorb the sauce perfectly. I add spicy and sesame sauce along with cilantro and crushed peanuts as a topping. Definitely a must go if you are on Thursdays at Reading Uni or Wokingham.”

“Best Peking duck and dim sum place in London, not one of. Need to reserve the duck one day in advance if you don’t want to try your luck on the day. The way they serve the different parts of the duck differently were divine, it’s a must try. Dim sum is only available at lunch time”

“Some of the best Chinese food I've had. Much better and more flavorful than the Cantonese offerings I usually get as a takeaway. I had some spicy smoked ribs with a good offering of spiced veg and peppers, as well as some battered chicken with red onion. The menu has some interesting selections, and if I wasn't in a bit of a rush I'd have loved to have tried some of the more adventurous options! Good atmosphere, incredible menu, reasonably priced, and great portions. I went in and ordered to take out and the food presentation was incredible.”

“Excellent dum sum. Quick to be seated, though does fill up rapidly from 12.00 onwards. Staff are very friendly and attentive, dim sum menu is standard with some nice specials. Restaurant is really clean and tidy with great decor. Note that my photos are as we are eating hence some missing dumplings! As soon as the plates started arriving at the table we started eating!”

“The best Hong Kong style dim sum in London that I tried. Royal China was very clean and tidy looking when I visited. The dim sum dishes were delicious and reasonably priced. The dishes were hot when I got them as if they were just cooked. I highly recommend the pawn and chive dumplings. I loved how the chives were cut into small pieces but still big enough to have a texture when I tasted them. The wonton noodle soup was great too with thin egg noodle and a few pieces of green vegetable. They are located within five walking distance to Queen Mary’s Rose Garden and Hyde Park. The staff there were very friendly. It’s nice to dine there.”

“The environment and food are decent. One of the nicer interiors in Chinatown. Well adjusted AC is a plus during summer. The assortment of dim sum were good. The turnip cake was a bit floury but still passable. Get a rice / noodle dish if you are really hungry and don’t want to order so much dim sum. Also had good experiences at the Canary Wharf location. Royal China has so far been a good Chinese restaurant chain in London. Definitely a go-to when craving and in the area.”

“On a late night in Canary Wharf, we decided to try the branch of Royal China here. Royal China usually never fails to disappoint whether at Baker Street, Dubai, Mumbai or New Delhi. And Canary Wharf was no exception. The food was fabulous and the staff are very efficient. Th food came soon after we ordered. And everything was very tasty. “Hidden Gem in China town. Lobster and Steam sea bass are best quality and so fresh. Sirloin steak Chinese style is mouth watering. YuTze tofu in hot pot is amazing signature dish here. Chicken and liver in hot pot is unbeatable. I can't stand the queue and crazy crowd in other places, this is an oasis for me. China town at it's best.”
