“This place has it all! Just listen to the sound of my posted videos :) The best flavour for Chinese food. Once a week they visit our campus at Reading Uni and serve us traditional, delicious dishes. It works like a lifesaver at uni to have such a special restaurant serving at hour place. I usually go with porkbelly or beef with noodles. The meat is always soft and incredibly good spiced. The noodles absorb the sauce perfectly. I add spicy and sesame sauce along with cilantro and crushed peanuts as a topping. Definitely a must go if you are on Thursdays at Reading Uni or Wokingham.”

“Went for an evening meal with my family. We all loved the food. Great location by the side of The Thames by Chertsey Bridge. The staff were also friendly and polite. The restaurant was fully booked so we eat in the bar area, which was more then fine. Will be going back. Went back for Sunday roast. You need to book. Plenty of good food.”

“Cannot fault this place, booked as it’s a dog friendly hotel. The rooms are very well presented and immaculately clean. The food was top notch and loads of good beers and real ales on offer and I have to say, the garden area is epic! “Me and my friend (pictured) drove here and were able to park conveniently right in front of the pub! The staff were extremely friendly, one of them even laughed at my jokes which is a rarity. The Guinness was superb and this can be telling of the establishment as a whole. They also offered us a rewards card on arrival which gifted a free pint for every six purchased - very handy if you're going as a large group! The Heineken silver wasn't for us but you can't please everyone in this day and age. Will definitely be back here in the near future.”

“After seeing some bad reviews here I thought I'd write an honest review. I have ordered fish and chips from harrys chertsey pretty much every week. I have never. I repeat never had any problem with my order. Chips always cooked well not greasy and soggy like suggested in other reviews. Again the fish batter always light and fluffy and cooked properly. As I say I order from them weekly not once had a problem. Also will add the delivery is quick and hot on arrival Don't let the reviews with clear lies put you off, this fish and chip shop is good try a order and judge yourself, you will not regret it if you want fish and chips.”

“I’ve been visiting this chicken shop since 2015 when I lived and worked nearby. It is soo much nicer tasting than KFC. As I’m not that local anymore it’s hard but I do swing by occasionally for chicken fillets…. So tasty! Cash only but there is a cash machine at the bottom of the shop next door.”
