“This is more like a smart cafe than a formal restaurant with a family friendly ambience. When we were here, there were plenty of people with children around (Saturday 530pm). We got a max platter, which was always going to be more food than we needed for two adults and two children but would be perfect for four adults. The meats were excellent and we went for rice instead of chips which was good as an extra. Definitely very good value for money and the quality of the food is as good as many of the more upmarket Turkish restaurants in nearby areas.”

“The best salon EVER!! Everyone is so lovely, polite and caring! Tommy is an absolute genius - brilliant at what he does, with a flair for colour and style. I first met him when he rescued my hair from a disastrous colour done by a major national salon (who were supposed to be the best in their field!!). Tommy took one look at the horror that was my hair and knew immediately what to do. He talked things through with me, telling me what the other salon had done and how he would save my hair and give me back my healthy, glossy locks! The trust he inspired in me from that very first meet was so reassuring, I was completely at ease and let him work his magic. The result was amazing - not only had he restored the colour to better than what it should be, but he went above and beyond with various conditioning treatments, masks and a head massage to boot! Now whenever I go for my cut / colour I just plonk myself down, enjoy the coffee (and the massage chair - which is an absolute must!) and let him do his thing! Tommy is, without a doubt, absolutely brilliant!”

There is a train line behind but there's no horns blaring & the trains are pretty quiet, double glazing does a good job of masking the sound but be aware if you're a light sleeper. “This place is my favorite choice for BBQ platter. It isnt smokey and this will not make you smell. The quality of the meat was superb esp the beef. Japchae was good but not exceptionally good. I tasted better ones than this. Seafood bibimbap was very tasty so as the beef. Not quite sure with the chicken. The desserts are nice. It was worth a try at least once. Over-all, the side presentation was lovely, it has good variety and flavor. It is a bit pricey though but real good! Oh, drinks and costumer service were exceptional!”

“As we entered inside they served us with salad, humus/yoghurt dip with naan and Lentil soup on the house. We then ordered the kebab platter. At the end they provided Turkish kawa tea and baklava on the house. Waiter was friendly and warm. Not much of a wait either for food to be served approx 5 mins.”

“I ordered the marble dining set and coffee table from them and have been extremely happy with their service and quality of products. The staff are kind and very helpful. The delivery driver brought everything up to our flat on 2nd floor and assembled all the parts with care. I recommend people to use this store, their prices are cheaper compared to majority of furniture retailers out there.”

“One of the nicest cafe in London. Located just at the borders of Edware Road and Maida Vale. Above the canal. Giving you the impression you have travelled to Venice. Beautiful view of the canal from the bridge, where its located. Great selection of oven baked Pizzas, or English Breakfast. Coffees, teas. Per person is about £15-£20, but worth every penny of it. Regardless how often we have been to this place, we always come back. Staff always friendly and with a smile. See you soon”

“A very vibrant place. I was there on a Saturday evening. They offered me a bigger table as it was quite crowded, with the agreement that I will leave in an hour or so, agreeable given the time I had visited. Even through the crowd the people kept checking in if everything was okay and if I needed anything. Chicken 65 (Saucy) was really good. Although the Chicken Tikka was a bit different from my expectations, but it was good. Personally for me it did not suit. Good music, excellent staff and very good service. Will visit again soon to try out their other dishes. Thank you Flavours.”

“I went into Harpers to buy a dress for a special occasion. I was served so efficiently and professionally by very very friendly ladies, who made me feel very relaxed and welcome. I actually bought a beautiful dress and the lady even pinned up for me and then took me over the road to the Dry Cleaners to get it altered, telling him the instructions that she had issued to me. I am now going to go back there to buy some more clothes for another function and look forward to going. I normally dread buying clothes but this has made buying clothes a lovely experience. “Nice shop and easy to find. The car park is small but you can park at B&M Home Store right next to Matalan. 2 hours parking permited. The shop is clean and tidy with 2 storey. Good quality clothes and affordable prices. You can also buy home accessory items. Coming with the bus use bus stops Colindeep Lane Stop CF or stop GZ. Opposite of the store you have a McDonald's in case you get hungry or want to the toilet.”
