“We started speech therapy with Monique when our son was 3 and half years old. He was unable to pronounce the sounds s, sh, t, tch, z by itself or in the words. He was slow at speaking, expressing himself and making  simple sentences. With Moniques help for almost 1 year, he was able to make amasing progress, increasing his vocabulary and making sentences. She explained to him which part of the mouth the sounds come from so he understood what he needs to do to make the correct sounds. I was able to learn from her effective communication skills that I was using every day with my son to help him change wrong pronunciation habits. Now our son is almost 6 years old, he has been discharged from NHS speech therapy, even though he had not attended any speech therapy for the last year due to lockdown. We were able to support him in learning to pronounce all the sound that he was still struggling with over a year ago (like sh, tch). He is able to produce all the sounds correctly now and when he makes a mistake he always corrects himself. His is able to communicate appropriately for his age now, he is progressing well at school with his reading and expressing himself. We are very grateful for all the hard work and input  from Monique. “We first came across the wonder that is John Fitzpatrick when he was working within the NHS and boy were we were very lucky to find John. My husband had suffered a severe road accident injury and we were advised by the surgeon that he would never get full range of motion back. Thanks to the dedication and detremination of John, my husband surpassed all expectations, the best day ever was when he walked into see John on crutches and came out later with just a walking stick. We have been to John a few times over the years and he has always managed to sort out our injuries, strains ans sprains. I would not hesitate to recomend John and the other Physios at tbe practice.”

“I went to have a routine colonoscopy just over a week ago. Never had sedation as I had no one to take me home. The staff, procedure and care was exemplary. I felt very secure and safe. Thank you to the surgeon and staff.”

“I’ve been referred for a lumbar MRI. Patient transport has been arranged through my GP (after some fight for it). The Ambulance driver Adam was very helpful and kind. Everyone at the MRI department the same. This was the first time someone took my problem seriously and as soon as they’ve been informed that the wait for my transport back home would be hours they arranged me a taxi as they know that I am not able to sit on those chairs for long.
