“We were staying at the Montague hotel and only decided on the morning of our arrival that we wished to eat in their bistro.Their website showed no availability, but not to be defeated, I rang the hotel reception, mentioned I was staying that night and was it possible to book a table-I was told it was no problem-just what time! We arrived at the restaurant after a hard days sightseeing and were ready for our meal-We had looked on the website that morning and this had shown the summer menu was still in place. We were therefore surprised to be told that their autumn menu was now in place. However, the selection was just as good. My wife had a tiger prawn stroganoff with rice, which looked and tasted delicious. I had their hand chopped steak, which effectively was a Pattie of cooked minced beef or at least it was to my eyes. However, this was also really tasty. The desserts were no less wonderful. The selection of wines was good as was the coffee. The service of the staff was attentive, yet unobtrusive and although the cost was more than we would normally pay, the experience and the quality of the food and the surroundings made it more than worthwhile. Put it this way, we will be eating there again, even if we are not residents!!”

“We had a really nice dinner! Nice staff and you can have some nice chats with them. The food was amazing and they served it with a big smile. I ordered: Juicy lucy burger! (Really nice burger with pulled beef) Mojito's! (strawberry and passion fruit) and a brownie with icecream. It was dellicious.”

“Very underrated place. One of my favourite places to eat out at, only discovered it 3 months ago and I’ve already been here quite a few times. Thai food is often inauthentic in London, but at Greyhound Cafe you will surely find the food to be authentic. Do not miss out on their Holy Basil Chilli Bomb, or their Drunken Seafood Noodles dishes. The staff are very friendly, however, sometimes it is difficult to get their attention when trying to call them over to our table.”
