“This garage came to my rescue as we were visiting the area on a short family break and had a failing battery. Following an early morning call to the owner - he arranged for our car to have a new battery fitted the same morning, allowing us to carry on with our family trip. Had it not been for the owners kindness and Luke’s quick and professional work - we would have been stranded. Highly recommended. Amazing garage and superb service. Thank you so much.”

“I've used yasmin a few times and she works to a very high standard she is amazing at tattooing she is a very talented artist and I keep going back. She is very friendly and makes you feel very comfortable. Her room is always clean and tidy too.”

“Me and my friend (pictured) drove here and were able to park conveniently right in front of the pub! The staff were extremely friendly, one of them even laughed at my jokes which is a rarity. The Guinness was superb and this can be telling of the establishment as a whole. They also offered us a rewards card on arrival which gifted a free pint for every six purchased - very handy if you're going as a large group! The Heineken silver wasn't for us but you can't please everyone in this day and age. Will definitely be back here in the near future.”

“I’ve been visiting this chicken shop since 2015 when I lived and worked nearby. It is soo much nicer tasting than KFC. As I’m not that local anymore it’s hard but I do swing by occasionally for chicken fillets…. So tasty! Cash only but there is a cash machine at the bottom of the shop next door.”

“I would recommend The Winning Post- good food, free large car park and spacious venue. We were a table of 4 and went to eat. I have to say that they’re sharing nachos are some of the nicest I have tasted- the freshly made tortilla chips are really nice. It would be nicer to have some more guacamole but I often think this with nachos- this is my preferred dip. The menu has a number of vegan options which is not always common and the allergen menu online is really useful. The service was good- any minor issue resolved without delay. Staff were welcoming. Overall I would recommend and plan to return.”
