We have tried most of the pizzas in the menu and loved them all. You definitely need reservations specifically for the weekends. Their quality deteriorated recently but still the best in London. Tanya and her staff made me feel at ease and comfortable in the salon while she gave a comprehensive consultation. She applied the colour and took time and care with my hair. “I visited Sly's Barber shop this morning. Polite friendly service from Sly & Bishop who were working when I was there, you can get a cup of tea around the corner and wait on the alfresco seats outside the barbers. It's a no frills neighbourhood barber's (situated within Crisp Street Market) specialising in all types of hair. Afro, European and Asian. There's a democratic numbered ticket queue system, you get your ticket and wait. It can be sometime because they are popular and busy, especially at the start of the school term. Prices are pretty reasonable £12 (2019 August). If you are in a rush you can book a time slot in advance for £25. If you want to jump the queue the tax is £40. They open at 730am (arrange in advance) and for the early morning slots there's a £5 surcharge. Not bad if you want a shape up before leaving for the city.”

“Purchased a Ceiling Pull Cord Switch 2way in Polished Chrome. A&H Brass dispatched the item promptly, it was received in good condition and well packaged. Slightly disappointed with the item though as it turned out to be plastic (which wasn't stated in the spec) with a chrome-plated brass price tag. I would have happily paid for brass with chrome plating as I was looking for a quality item - hence the reason I chose to purchase from A&H Brass! In the end I swapped out the small bell-shaped pullcord handle for a solid brass, chrome plated handle, so only time will tell if the ceiling rose keeps its finish in a humid bathroom.”
