“I reside in the USA and was visiting London and wanted a tattoo as a souvenir. I called/emailed so many shops and got no replies and was losing hope but Hammersmith Tattoo replied back to me quickly and I made deposit (which was easy to do) and confirmed my appointment. I walked into the shop and noted it was clean and I was greeted by a friendly person at the desk which instantly made me less anxious. I was then greeted by my Artist Tom who was friendly, attentive to my ideas, gave some great advice and drew up the tattoo I was imagining perfectly. Once in his room, it was clean and all standard sanitary procedures were followed that I could see. He was polite, courteous and as a women alone in a room with a man, felt at complete ease. The whole experience was pleasant and positive. I left with a beautiful tattoo in his style that I love and will always remember my experience in London for it. “Haven't met any of the tattooists, but I can't say enough good things about Rhianna and Elin, the piercing team. I've had 9 piercings with them so far and more planned. They always provide a 5 star service: friendly, helpful, happy to answer questions and talk everything through. Never rush or push you if you're unsure. After care service for 2 which swelled more than usual was amazing (and free!). Nothing is too much trouble for them. I've been to piercing places who clearly don't have your best interests at heart, but I believe they definitely do. Piercings can go badly wrong so it is absolutely worth paying for the best possible service. Goes without saying everything is super clean and hygienic. The reception staff are all really nice and helpful as well, even when it's really busy.”

“I got my nose pierced in Camden 2 weeks ago, but it fell out yesterday evening. I couldn't get it back in so I rushed to my nearest piercing shop, and they replaced it, gave me very little advice. This morning I woke up to find the 2nd piercing had fallen out in my sleep. I called Inkology and they were incredibly helpful, explaining I'd been given the wrong type of stud, and they'd be happy to set me up with the right one, in the colour I liked, and even gave me some advice on how to prevent it from closing in the meantime before I got to them. Once I was there, the piercer Mia, explained everything clearly and carefully, was incredibly kind and friendly, asked me exactly what I wanted and needed, gave me several options, then expertly and gently put in the new stud which shouldn't fall out! She then emailed me an aftercare instruction leaflet and told me to contact them or come in if I had any further problems. From the woman I spoke to on the phone, to the piercer Mia, to the guy tattooing another client next to the cash desk, everyone was friendly, kind, and welcoming - and the entire operation felt a lot more professional and hygienic than the previous 2 (highly rated on Google maps) places I'd been. If you're thinking about getting a piercing I HIGHLY recommend Inkology, I can't speak to their tattooing but I can only imagine it's done with the same level of care, attention to detail and professionality that they handled my matter with.”

“Had several meals at the 2 T’s Cafe in New Cross ranging from breakfasts to burgers and pasta dishes, and I’ve never been to a more consistent place in a while! The staff are always smiling and will always say hello, even when you’re walking past the restaurant! Will almost certainly fill you up when you leave.”

“A historical London theatre with great decorations in central London. I came to see the Nutcracker with my mum this year! We sit on the upper circle. The view was good and no restrictions. But the legroom is quite squashed cause it won’t have enough space. The Nutcracker show was fabulous! Will definitely watch again another Christmas time!”

“Britain’s oldest purpose built cinema delivers every time. We watched Nomadland here yesterday and some films are just made for the big screen. So much crying in the dark. The top floor bar is sadly still closed. But the process felt very Covid safe and well organised. Staff are always lovely.”

“A wonderful small theatre right next to west Norwood station. The building itself is rather impressive itself and internally it is rustic and fits in with the building itself. The bar downstairs was welcoming and homely and despite an issue with their cellar, they had a reasonable selection available. The auditorium has a good rake on the seating meaning that I didn't feel too subconscious that I was blocking the person sitting behind me, but not too steep that it makes it a bad viewing angle for the audience. I will definitely be adding this to the list of theatres I keep an eye out on what's going on at.”

“I would give Hasan Hajj 10 out of 5 stars, if I could. Alhamdullilah the hajj could not have gone better than it did. And it was THE hajj for me (meaning: my one and only- I don’t know if I will get to do another), so having no regrets is only something someone could dream of. I travelled with 3 others and we knew we had made the right choice even before we left for Makkah. Hasan Hajj provided us with a clear itinery, an awesome guide book, conducted seminars and regular emails in order to help prepare us. They are true professionals. If I was asked how they took care of us during the hajj and the time after that we were there, it would be difficult to do them justice; they treated us with the utmost respect, balancing carefully being our physical guides and allowing us time for our own ibadah. It was evident that they have a lot of experience in conducting Hajj tours because they gave the right information at the right time, and adapted what we did according to what was best for us and the group. Moreover, they were so thoughtful, for example, instead of us coming outside hotels to wait for coaches in the heat, they would ask us to wait in our hotel rooms and message us with the names of the people who they were ready to board. I could go on with the details, but to summarise it was just… The. Most. Perfect, Hajj. And Allah swt reward the whole family and all of the helpers immensely for taking us along and for helping make it easy for us; the parents, the sisters, the brothers, brother Miskhat for guiding and organising and especially brother Maher for all of his hard work and for helping us when we needed help. Allah reward them all for doing that for the entire group (and on top of that they all also did their own Hajj at the same time!) I hope Allah swt grants them the best in this dunya and the next. * I thank Allah swt for making the Hajj particularly beautiful; on Arafah we left after Dhuhr to stand and make our dua; as beads of sweat rolled of off our heads from the heat, there was an intensely loud clap of thunder, then began the sudden pouring of a constant and heavy rain, the roar of thunder continued - reminding us again and again of His greatness and strength, all the while we had the opportunity to ask for mercy alongside other believers. The atmosphere was incredibly moving, people were shouting ‘Allah hu Akbar’ repeatedly and the heavy downpour (and thunder) just continued on for two and a half hours. Inshallah it was a washing away of our sins and it came just as everyone was asking Allah swt to wash us of our sins. Those two and a half hours were the best time of my life.”

“27 August- 2 September 2022 The front desk service was very attentive and professional. We were greeted by Xinchen Li Guest Relations Manager whom was so so helpful. Her PR is excellent and took us in with open arms. The hotel ambience was warm and welcoming with the right mix of traditional, classic charm with a contemporary feel. We are enjoying every minute in your esteem hotel. The doorman remembers our name and welcoming us every time when we returned. Our room was deluxe, clean and fresh, lovely bed and amenities. The bathroom is very clean and fresh and all we need is there. Everybody from staff is friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful stay, location is great too, a short stroll to the tube station. We will definitely come back!”
