Why would you visit this place when the cakes, coffee, sandwiches and jacket potatoes are so so good . Also found out today they provide outside catering too! Cake orders, afternoon teas etc. Such a fab place.”

I went into the show room and warehouse location they have in London and was so great to get some advice in person and to be able to discuss the products with them. “Visited this evening for the first time with my husband and was pleased with the first impressions and ambience of the restaurant. We were seated and given clean, quality menus. We ordered a pina colada, ginger ale and 2 diet cokes. Regular cokes were brought out in error and were quickly substituted. The seating was comfortable and we were brought out a small table lamp which was a novel touch. We ordered aloo tikki for starters, which took a tad on the longer side to come out, but no big deal. Well presented and tasty. Mains we ordered, chicken tikka, handi murgh, butter naan, plain and saffron rice. The bread was soft and rice fluffy. Chicken tikka was cooked just right, nicely flavoured. Handi murgh was also good, particularly because I prefer thigh meat. The pina colada was really tasty, I would have preferred a piece of fresh pineapple as the garnish rather than the dried one personally. For dessert we wanted the almond kheer, but it was sadly finished, so we had the pistachio creme brulee and the date sponge with chai ice cream. The brulee was really good and I'd recommend it. The sponge was a bit dense for me, but the ice cream was great. We had this with karak chai, which was lovely. I felt all portion sizes were spot on. If you fancy a nice sit down meal where the service is excellent, I recommend trying The Cardamom Room. The service was top throughout our sitting. Regularly clearing dishes, wiping the table and checking we were happy without being intrusive.”

“Today I have a very wonderful lunch to The Coffee Room Deptford. The secret ingredient is Mirela tomato sauce, sublime ♥️ It is a good place for job meeting. We ordered vegetarian lasagna, parmigiana and gnocchi al pesto. Delicious!”

“Another lovely evening at The Albany. Sitting outside to enjoy late summer al fresco dining while we still can as the evenings start to draw in. Fabulous and friendly service as always. Great cocktails and a Bang Bang Chicken burger, followed by a brownie and ice cream. Sheer bliss!”

“A great, compact room. Very clean hardwood floors, comfy bed, good shower... what more do you want? Especially given it’s so cheap and close to a tube station. Only minor complaint; was slightly, and I mean slightly, noisy early morning.”

“Visiting London was my Christmas present, so my girlfriend and me stayed in Sidney Victoria. Levi (I Don’t know if I write it well) did our check in and he welcomed us perfect! We felt the warm welcome and he’s been amazing and so helpful. There was another receptionist from India that was so nice with us as well. I’m working in the industry since 12 years ago and I would to have staff like they in our team! The hotel was nice, but it’s a maze, kind of game to find the room but the rooms are good, well cleaned and full prepared with all kind of facilities. The only thing we did not like is the breakfast; there’s practically nothing but the staff is lovely, so we did not care about that. It’s near all, we walked everywhere and came back walking as well. Definitely we will stay there again soon and we hope to see our friends from front desk again.”

“I just happened to come across “The Sushi Co” while going somewhere else. The staff were incredibly nice and detail-oriented. I had a Salmon Orange box and a Miso soup and it was A-ok. Listen, it’s not glamorous, high-end, sushi, but if you manage those expectations, it’s a good, nice, quick place to grab a bite to eat.”

“Lovely new addition to Hampton! Definitely check it out. Friendly service, fresh ingredients some creative pizza combinations. It was bring your own wine so we grabbed a bottle at the local shop a few doors down. Highly recommend and going back next week.”
