The Rose Shenfield - Bar & Dining
“Really good cosy and friendly atmosphere in the restaurant or public bar, which is situated on the left as you enter. I highly recommend their Sunday roast options, including the 3 meat offering. Overall, a little gem of a place just opposite Shenfield High School.”
The Bull Brentwood
“So friendly and amazing food. Without us needing to ask they bought us dog food and water for our fur babies. The food was ready quickly and was nicely presented and so moreish! My second time here and will definitely be returning soon!”
Prezzo Italian Restaurant Brentwood
“Had first courses, wine and dessert. Service was nice and swift. Everything we had was good.”
Zizzi - Brentwood
“I went here on a Saturday night to catch up with some friends I hadn't seen in a while. The atmosphere was nice and quiet, something people forget to appreciate. The food was as expected my only criticism was the menu was varied but items that were a particular type of meal weren't varied enough, the calzone had two options? They tasted great but would have liked a few different flavours.”
Harvester Golden Fleece Brentwood
“Easily the best harvester I've ever been to! The staff are so nice and considerate, and the food is delicious. Will definitely come back again, and again.”
Holiday Inn Brentwood M25, JCT.28, an IHG Hotel
“Upgraded to executive room, the bed was really massive, newly refurbished, bigger flat screen, room is very clean. Unfortunately I was too tired to try out the pool. Will definitely be back. Only negative 4 me was that parking was not free , I was told because I made my booking thur booking dot Com.”
Marco's New York Italian Brentwood
“We had an amazing meal this evening, the food was amazing and the staff were even better. They were so helpful and very friendly, always making sure we had everything we needed. We were staying in the hotel which meant the kids got a free 3 course meal which made our evening even better. We will 100% return next time we are in the area x”
The Orchard Café
“Literally THE cutest and loveliest cafe in Brentwood. The cleanliness is spot on and food and portions give airport breakfast vibes. No grease and great quality food items used!”
Alec's Restaurant
“You cannot beat the atmosphere and the food here. From start to finish you will feel special. The food is exquisite and the drinks the same. The restaurant is so nice! Turn up early so you can enjoy the champagne bar!!”
La Bicicletta
“I visited this restaurant with a client for the first time, this week. A wonderful gem, in a small village. Excellent food and service, extremely good wine and the chef/owner an absolute gentlemen with a great sense of humour. I live in France and have to say, one of the finest meals I have had anywhere.”
Tarantino
“What a beautiful experience, from start to finish me and my family were treated less like customers and more like... Family. The excellent service was complimented by authentic and delicious Italian food. There were a couple of order miscommunications, but they were resolved quickly and comfortably. Whilst it was a little noisy at first, this was quickly drowned out by a beautiful musical performance from a solo artist creating a unique experience I didn't think could be found in Brentwood. 3 courses with drinks for just £30ish per head for a group of 5, I can't wait to come back. If you like good food and good company, you need to check out Tarantinos.”
Jehan Curry Hut
“Best curry in the whole south of England (will let you know if they do one better in the north if I go there). The staff are so nice and honestly, you will not get a better tasting curry anywhere near!”
Chariots Fish & Chips
“A fantastic restaurant. Went there for the 1st time last Friday with my Mrs, ordered the Lobster Platter. Was delicious and filling for the both of us. But what impressed me most was the customer service. Such a friendly atmosphere, they make everyone feel welcome and a real community. Will definitely be coming back...”
Balti House
“Look, there are plenty of half decent Indian food outlets in and around Brentwood. Some are exceptional whilst others are dire, I’ve tried pretty much all of them. The Balti House is sublime, superb, outstanding and the food is great value for money and as tasty as any Indian meal you are ever likely to eat. Stunning food and a standalone outlet producing a high quality cuisine. I highly recommend this business.”
The Stag
“Best Sunday roast! I came a couple weeks ago and I’m back again today on Boxing Day. The atmosphere is great, staff are welcoming. It’s cozy here.. honestly love it. I also want to mention that I a vegetarian and the roast at this pub was absolutely delicious! 10 out of 10!!”
Rising Sun
“The Best Boozer in Brentwood. Beer on point, great for sports, pizzas are unreal and the staff are class. Landlord is a class act who knows how to run a pub. Definitely be back.”
Thatchers Arms Great Warley
“Only popped in for a drink and to feed the child. Honestly the quality of the children's dinner has definitely made this a place I'm coming back too. It's a propa old pub with some characters in there. Staff were so friendly (a special thanks to the lady that booked my daughter under 'princess') Really warm welcoming and friendly pub plus the food was excellent. Everyone there was having a good time. Thank you for this one off visit as I'll definitely be back with the family.”
Ginger Spice
“If you are looking for an indian restaurant look no further as Ginger Spice is clearly the best. Decorated beautifully with a large comfortable bar area to relax whilst having pre dinner drinks. The waiters are so friendly, helpful and nothing is too much trouble. The food was all lovely. The flavours of the spices with the beautiful presentation made every mouthful wonderful. It was a totally different experience for me as I normally choose a sauce based curry but I decided to opt for fish and king prawns and it was so fully of flavour and the fish remained delicate. My husband chose the salmon main and the spice added to a lovely salmon fillet. We were not rushed and had a great interaction with the waiters. They made sure all 10 of us were served together by using a restuarent dessert trolley to bring all of our dishes at once. The only disappointment was another unnecessarily noisy table of 10 next to us which made conversation difficult whilst they were at their table. But that unfortunately happens sometimes nowadays. The main restuarent was much quieter with curved booth setting to give more privacy which is ideal for smaller groups. I can recommend with confidence.”
The Alma Arms Freehouse
“Lovely pub. Took mum for lunch. Steak and Stilton pie was amazing, the staff were very friendly and helpful”
The Green Dragon Shenfield
“Great pub with an authentic old school vibe. Has a great outdoor area with the footy shown. Great pints which are always fresh. They are very comfortable with kids or pets”
The Hutton Junction
“Got stranded at Shenfield yesterday due to storm Eunice…found my way to the Junction and ended up having a good old crack with the locals and another stranded traveller. Really friendly bunch, bar staff excellent, food tasty and the Guinness excellent too.”
The Brave Nelson Pub
“Lovely lunch in the garden. Friendly staff and friendly clientele! Steak strips were lovely and quick to be cooked. Also took dog and was very welcoming by staff and Visitors.”
Wildwood
“Very pleasant dining experience, we had booked a table in advance and we were shown to our table immediately, the service was very good without the waitresses bothering us, the food was excellently presented and it tasted beautiful whilst being competitively priced, very impressed and will try to go again when we are next in the area.”
The Dairyman - JD Wetherspoon
“Situated on the main high street. A Wetetherspoons, an absolutely super range of lager, real ales and various other drinks on offer, the prices for selected ales can be as low as £2.50 a pint. There's an ample breakfast menu at very affordable prices. There is also a wide of main meals available and it seemed a daily special at lunchtime. To me, this establishment offered very good value for money. The staff were very friendly and efficient. I will definitely visit again next time I'm in Brentwood.”
