“I've eaten a lot of Biryani dishes, and each is unique - and this is no different. It's light, gently spiced, and a touch on the dry side - but that's only because it's paired with the delicious curry that are provided for you to pair the biryani with. The vegetable curry is flavourful (provided with the biryani). The vindaloo and jalfrezi have been catered for the local clientele, are of a good quality, and are not too hot to handle. Anyone with a mild to medium taste pallet will enjoy it. The staff are polite and friendly, and food was delivered on-time and warm. Happy with the service, would order again.”

I had an express order supposed to come between 1 and 2pm which showed as delivered and hadn’t actually came and I was worried about my children’s dinner being on the plate. Maria spoke to my family all day and helped my dad to the van with all the shopping she also gifted me flowers, sweets for my kids and upgraded some of my items as a kind gesture! “Tried this Chinese after our regular was closed for the night. I think this will now become our regular Chinese. The food had loads of flavour, not greasy. Packaged nicely with clear lids to see the food, the sauce pots were in a tray so no risk of leaking in the delivery bag. The food was also nice and hot, and the chips were good and not rock hard like most are from chinese takeaways.”

“A few days before our holiday our cat had an accident and ended up with broken toes, I was so worried that Oakland's would not want to take her. Louise however was amazing and completely reassuring about looking after her, our cat probably received better care than being at home with us. The cat hotel is beautiful and very peaceful and after a stressful few days before our holiday we were able to go away with complete confidence that our little fur baby was being taken care off. Will always try to get her into Oakland's it's a lovely place.”

“I had a filet burger meal (chicken burger, chips and a can) with 3 wings for £6. The burger was really tasty and succulent. The chips fresh and thin. The wings came straight off the bone and tasted amazing. I eat a lot of similar meals like this and this might be the best I've ever had. Customer service was also perfect.”

“Honestly would give more stars if I could. Placed my order for the first time here because of a promotion on Deliveroo and never ordered sushi from anyone else. The sushi is always so fresh and well made, and the menu is creative as well. The last time I ordered was a couple of days ago and man I wish I’d taken pictures because the time and attention to garnish was amazing. The sushi was seasoned to perfection too. They really outdid themselves. I also went to pick up an order once with my partner and the staff is super nice. On Deliveroo they handle their own delivery and the drivers always greet you with a smile and are very polite. Best sushi in the area in my opinion!”

“Amazing pizza and wonderful service. The moment you walk in you get the feeling its a family business and it feels cosy and welcoming. We ordered in person and took a takeaway home (lockdown means we cannot eat in at the moment!) But as soon as we are able to, we will go to eat in too. Service was quick, pleasant and attentive. Reminds me of the pizzas we enjoyed in Rome!”

“Great park. Probably the best in the area to be honest. Long walks, great views and a real sense of being away from it all... even though it’s only 5 minutes away from the outskirts of Romford. Oh, plus the deer compound and the secret walled garden. Just to add to the allure!!! Update... they now have some new play equipment near the main car park. Fantastic!”
