Imperial Arms Pub & Courtyard Bistro
● Open“Update........ Tryed the fish Friday menu tonight and was delicious, plus you can still order from the bistro menu so plenty of choices including whole lobster and surf and turf. There's a pre book Christmas menu available for the 1st-23rd of December which looks excellent value for money, small deposit required. Great building with plenty of history. Booked bistro for a Sunday roast dinner. Foods good, does get very busy especially for Sunday lunches. Nice bistro and courtyard. Staff amazing! Professional, polite and attentive. Will definitely revisit and try the fish menu available on Friday's. Very limited parking.”

The Wells Tavern
● Open“The Wells Tavern is one of Hampstead's best gastro pubs offering all that is needed to be a neighbourhood favourite including a great location, outside seating with heaters and large canopies, good service, tasty food and two floors offering formal and informal dinning. The prices are on the high end when compared to other areas of town, but it is part of the "Hampstead premium". The ground floor is a traditional bar with tables, sofas and all around dog friendliness. The food menu includes plates of chorizo with red pepper and gherkins, cod fishcakes, burgers and grilled tuna steak. Tables outside are at a premium when the sun shines. The upstairs is made up of three small dining rooms, with a more formal menu and setting. The scallops (£14.50) part of the starter menu where fresh and full of flavour, while the ribeye steak (£29.50) was tasty. The portion of chips could be larger but they were perfectly cooked. The duck leg (£19.85) was cooked perfectly.A great spot for drinks, a quick bite to eat or a more formal meal if you do not mind the premium prices.”

The Lordship Pub
● Open“From not visiting since this pub was The Mag 7 years ago have just returned from another superbly cooked Sunday lunch (twice in 2 weeks). Without doubt the best Sunday lunch in the surrounding areas. Last week we all had the beautifully cooked rare roast beef (actually rare which is .......rare!) accompanied by a large fluffy Yorkshire, crisp green beans and peas and carrots that still had a bit of a crunch. Covered in a very lovely gravy. Our 10 year old daughter, who is quite a fussy eater, had gravy on the side and Iggy our very friendly waitress quite happily swapped out roast potatoes for chips. A shared flavoursome, but light sticky toffee pudding with vanilla ice cream rounded off a great Sunday lunch. A very good and extensive wine list, we opted for a bottle of the Italian house red which was light and went well with the beef. We have just returned from our second visit. Iggy immediately acknowledged our us and who said " I remember you" to our daughter "Adult sized rare roast beef" . However, this afternoon my wife wanted to try the port belly and out daughter was unsure. Our very friendly waiter, Alex, said to our daughter, "If you don't like it, we will happily swap out to beef" taking the pressure off. The good sizes pork belly was amazing, hint of fennel and pull apart, melt in your mouth meat, topped with a light and crunchy crackling (not a soggy/ hard bit in sight). To be fair we were all quite full, but managed some stilton and a dessert wine, our daughter couldn't be tempted ...to another sticky pudding (so no photo). The very friendly and professional manager Chris runs the team well and good to see new joints on the side in the open kitchen at 5pm. Only concern about booking later than we had last week would be that the quality might not be maintained, but if anything, my rare beef and everything else was even better than our lunch at 1.30 last Sunday. The Lordship have Sunday lunch nailed and will be returning soon. Keep up the good work Chris and the team, Sunday Lunch should be easy, but so many pubs fail in this area. Will continue to be a firm Sunday lunch favourite of ours. See you soon! Had another very lovely Sunday lunch here on the 29th May. We had a lovely welcome from the manager Chris and were again expertly looked after by the excellent team Alex (who greeted us like friends) and Elise who is new and equally friendly and professional. We all opted for the roast lamb, expertly cooked, delicious and pink. Keep up the good work and see you on the 19th June for Fathers Day. No pressure!! Terence, Anouska and Phelix”

The Grange Pub
● Open“It’s the most accessible and inclusive pub in Bermondsey. It combines the atmosphere of a pub and good quality restaurant in one. There are few pubs in the area you can enjoy a drink in the warmth and actually be able to hear and have a good conversation with friends. It’s beautifully decorated and has a back garden with heaters. It has a friendly vibe - staff like to get to know customers needs and even if you just want to come a chill out with a book in peace you’re completely welcome. * Dog friendly * Chilled space with wifi to work or read * Lovely food - real pizza oven * Great atmosphere which encourages good customers * Zero tolerance for rowdy or aggressive customers * Good selections of drinks and wines As a female, I often enjoys a quiet drink with a book after work. In other pubs in the area I can find myself being harassed or males come, sit and wont leave me alone despite my requests. I’ve never had a problem here. The owner and staff are clear this is a space for everyone to feel comfortable and have a zero tolerance for rude, rowdy or aggressive customers.”

Spread Eagle Pub, Wandsworth
● Open“Absolutely lovely way to spend a Sunday afternoon in this beautifully refurbished pub, enjoyed a perfectly chilled rosé and the most delicious pork roast, not to mention the jam roly poly just like ‘my mum used to make’- delicious! Attention to detail is fabulous, even down to the cutlery and crockery. Great service, couldn’t fault a thing and would thoroughly recommend- it’s also very dog friendly and the music playlist comfortably in the background was pretty good too! Well done and thanks to the team.”

British Airways Galleries Club Lounge
● Closed“The lounges and overall business service is very good! Made flying so much more relaxed. Menu on the ground is limited but the food is tasty. The food in the air is good, never before have i even attempted to eat plane food after a bad experience many years ago. But they served a great dish on a real plate. The staff were amazing, the lounge is generally quiet and well maintained. A must for travelling in the current covid world.”

The Salusbury Pub
● Open“It's shame to read about the poor service received by some - has always been good the 5 or so times I've visited. The pizza however... The pizza is excellent. That 'almost burned on the puffy edges' stuff - I love munching the crusts as much as the tasty middle. (My partner is Italian, we eat in Italy regularly, she loves The Salusbury too) Keep serving pizza like this and all other quirks will be tolerated.”
