"Decent room, was upgraded to a king size, even though booked for a double. Was very pleased. Met with Annette for check in, she is rather a pleasant lady and very helpful and informative. Would definitely recommend to others for a short stay. Sadly I did not have time to take any pics."

"Proper historic pub with low ceilings and usually 4 real ales. Proper Job, Betty Stoggs and the excellent Dark Star Hophead plus a guest. Real ale kept in excellent condition with 10p discount on a pint for Camera members. Staff helpful and friendly. Outside seating to lap up the sun."
