Harrow Inn
● Closed“We held my uncles Wake at the Harrow Inn yesterday. Alison and Dave were very helpful in making the arrangements over the phone, as we are not from the area. The buffet was plentiful and offered a great selection of tasty food. They were able to cater for our vegan and gluten free family members with a nice selection also. We had use of a private room and indeed the whole bar including the garden, should we have needed it. Friendly hosts and good food, we were pleased we chose this venue and would recommend it!”

The Harrow Inn
● Closed“1st time there but my friend has been a few times. We got the Xmas feast 3 courses and weren't disappointed (though parsnips could be cooked a little longer ). The Turkey which I don't usually have was so moist it melted in your mouth. Try the Scallops and Prawn the jus was so tasty ( especially when I pinched 1 of my friend's finger toast ). The Xmas pudding and sauce was perfect to finish off and they gave enough time to let you digest each course. Teresa our server was so friendly and funny. It made my experience even better. I bought 2 extra Turkey dinners to take away and the recipients said they really liked them. So well done to the Chef and team. I live too far away now.but next time I'm up visiting my friend we'll be back. Sorry no photo of the scallops and prawns or mushrooms.”

The Plough & Harrow
● Closed“And another 'spoons that's been put on the market - right along King Street. Lovely place of reasonable size that was very clean and tidy. Little partitioned area at the back. Plenty of room to move about. Although it is quite chilly outside, there were a number of tables there to choose from. The staff were very friendly and polite and the Guinness was excellent.”

Arena Restaurant
● Open307 Harrow Road, London, Wembley HA9 6BD, United Kingdom“Such a warm, friendly welcome and a warm, traditional Greek restaurant with some of the nicest homemade food I’ve had! Even after consuming the massive meze between the 3 of us, we left feeling satisfied but not heavy. And the price is criminally low for such amazing food. Make sure to tip these guys handsomely with what you save as it’s worth it! The calamari was crispy and light, rather than chewy. The dips were fresh as if they were made this morning by hand. The lamb shank fell off the bone. Tender meat all round. And the halloumi was proper not rubbery rubbish. Even the wine was nice. Five stars from us all!”

The White Horse
● Closed“My favourite roast in the area! We visited the pub again this Sunday and it was as good as usual. We didn't make a reservation and so we had to wait for 10-15min for a table. However, staff were very friendly and promptly accommodate our request. The roast was delicious, very generous size and very short wait to have the food brought to the table. Prices are very reasonable.”

The Hare
● Closed“The best gastropub in Harrow by far. Great food, ambience and service. Vegetarian options are not an after thought. Also love that they have plenty of healthy options rather than fried and fast food. Having said that - must leave room for dessert!”

The Black Horse
● Closed“Huge Ember Inns pub where we enjoyed a pint and a mixed grill one warm early afternoon. We were the only ones in at that time, but I can imagine it getting busy with drinkers and foodies alike. Would definitely return if we're ever in that area of London again, and maybe stay for more than one next time.”

I recently chose WIV to have a business lunch due to the space and privacy it offers, not to mention the great chefs who work there- the food is always 100% We were left in peace to work and yet somehow the waiter was always on hand when we needed anything. Thank you so much, Ill be seeing you again soon.”

Salt Bar Restaurant
● Closed1 Roxeth Hill, South Harrow, Harrow HA2 0JY, United Kingdom“When it comes to Shisha, you can't get a better pot or flavours. Smokes really well, lasts ages, good range of flavours, they offer Dark Leaf. I hardly ever get food when I come, but the Lamb or Chicken biryani they do is really good, Highly recommended! They always have the big sport matches showing whether it's Cricket, Football, Boxing etc. Service is always 10/10. Especially if you're a regular.”
