The fruit was all plump and fresh, and mega tasty, and the choc-covered strawberries were a real hit. “Very accommodating for a party of 5 including a toddler and a baby. The staff were very friendly. The food was delicious and all tasted fresh. I ordered the Grant Close which came with 2 American style pancakes with fruit, cream and maple syrup on top, on the side there was avocado, halloumi, spinach and American style scrambled egg. I had curly fries on the side which were really nice too. My cappuccino was nice and creamy too but if you are a big coffee fan you might prefer a different place for your caffeine fix in the area. I'd highly recommend coming here, the best cafe in the area.”

“Warm and friendly place to get fresh and tasty cod and chips. My son always gets the savaloy and chips. Always more than enough chips. In the short time I waited you can see her regular customers are there and also people who have moved out of the area come back. The history behind this shop is undeniable and very endearing. May try a pie next time on my way home from work.”

“I come to this fish bar so often because the food is always so good! The fish and chips are just amazing the batter is so crispy and the chips are lovely, moreish and plentiful, recently tried the quarter pounder burger and it definitely won’t be the last it’s delicious and perfectly cooked.
