“Booked for a Thursday evening around 8pm. Very small place but love the intimate setting and small menu. Service- wonderful and so friendly, very happy with the overall experience. Food- so affordable and yummy! The definitely recommend the lamb with potatos and the fish curry. Thank you for lovely dining experience”

“A lovely clean bright family run restaurant,no paper napkins or table cloths here. Nice clean linen cover the tables with a bottle of spring water. The temptation to cut back over 30 years has been resisted. There's a comprehensive reasonable priced menu with unusual dishes I've never seen before. This make a refreshing change as other restaurants have cut back,simplified and restricted choice. The service was good with a complimentary drink offered. The food was good, meat portions on the small side but sufficient enough to fill me up Go your be splendidly surprised.”

“We came here for a special evening and it didn’t disappoint. We like to try indian fine dining and compare food quality, service and value for money. Manthan definitely delivered on all. As soon as you enter it gives you a wow factor, not too big but not too small. The service is class and they are very attentive. Food is served in good time and the quality of the food is amazing. We ordered some starters, mains and grills with mocktails and we liked everything we ordered. This is now a new favourite place to go to. Now for the price, we found this very reasonable given other places we have gone to and paid way more. Definitely value for money in respect to quality of food for the price. The chicken buttermilk is out of this world! We ordered pyaaz kachori, chicken buttermilk, lamb chops, chicken tikka masala, rice, paratha, desserts and sindhu mocktail. Since the original visit in sept-22 I have gone back in feb-23 and it still maintains its high quality. Around £61pp”

“Stumbled across this great little place yesterday, ordered a sharing platter, smoked salmon open sandwich, goats cheese salad and jardin salad all of which were delicious. We were so famished I forgot to take photos but believe me when I say, the presentation and freshness of everything was great! Service was extremely welcoming and friendly, atmosphere relaxed. Would definitely go there again when in the area.”

“Tasty, well seasoned food, Lovely people, great service. Clean and friendly. Food presentation was beautiful. My son had a school project to complete on Greek cuisine and his google search lead him here. The service received was fantastic both my sons have been back and I am sure we will all remain return customers. Thanks to the staff on that day, especially D, who inspired my sons in a way he could never imagine. He did this by simply taking the time to talk to and acknowledge my sons efforts in the project he was doing - Thank you. I appreciate that part and the food was a bonus! “Very nice proper cafe (without an acute) serving large variety of traditional cooked meals including good value all day breakfasts both large and small. The service is good, the staff are friendly and there are cheap parking bays scattered among the residents' parking in the side streets opposite.”

“Reasonable price and excellent customer service with utmost patient; however, fries could have been better and crispy, Thai prawn cracker tastes better in 'spicy basil'. Recommend “Spicy Basil” Thai restaurant at Kilburn(Jubilee line). Very great food available with reasonable price. Food is still always awesome as years ago.”

“Brilliant restaurant, the food here is one of the best Chinese food there is as there are barely any oiliness in the food, making the food very healthy along with the nice atmosphere at dinner time making the experience all the more better, plus the staff are friendly.”

“Authentic high-quality Turkish food in Romford town centre. Gorgeous indoor seating, and some outdoor seating. Service was good and fast. Portions are a bit small for the prices, but the food was all very delicious. I’d definitely eat here again.”

“I opted for the crayfish party menu with bottomless Prosecco (£45pp). The crayfish came with a side salad which was lovely and fresh, a cheese pie and the dessert was a creamy vanilla ice cream with strawberries. Food was delicious and staff very attentive, we never had to request a refill in the bottomless drinks and I was surprised with a lovely slice of cake for my birthday as a surprise! We finished the meal off with shots of aquavit, lingonberry cocktails and a traditional Nordic song. They do nice coffee too. I’d definitely recommend.”

“I was here with my friend. Ordered latte and pastry with chocolate. We really enjoyed our time here. The stuff is really friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this coffee shop if you want to have a great coffee and nice atmosphere.”

“Friendly and helpful staff. Even when there is a long queue, I'm served quickly. Lots of seating downstairs and upstairs and it's cleaned regularly throughout the day. I go for the coffee, which is very nice for a chain. I do hope they bring more variety to the coffee blends though.”

“I've been planning to go to this place for a while, and finally I did. Excellent Indian food cooked by experienced award winning chef, Naj Najmul. The waiter service was really good, especially Emon, who was very friendly and top for customer service and it was a very busy restaurant. Seen celebs there as well. Good selection on the menu, managed to find a parking space on Sunday, outside seating is also available. Would definitely go back again.”
