"The Angel is an old school pub with a pool table, darts and live sport. It is definitely a locals pub with a few characters at the bar but worth visiting for a few pints if you're in Roehampton. If drinking in a gastropub and paying high prices is your thing then the Kings Head is just next door."

"I have been on there on several occasions it's not a bad pub , I left a small bag that had my keys and spectacles in by mistake I had to travel back from Epsom to see collect them not expecting to see the bag again ,so I was pleasantly surprised when the young ladies had it behind the bar waiting for me to return to collect thank you so much ladies such nice helpful people."

"Was told Carling was 3.30 a pint by who was I presume the manager. It ended up being 4.30, but fair enough, I might have misheard. Had two pints and noticed that a gentlemen in the garden was angry as he was forced to move table due to a "reservation" he wasn't told about. Went inside and other older gentlemen was booted off a table for another "reservation," despite there being no signs or indication the table was reserved. After that, I finished my second pint and was waiting to be served at my table, all the whilst the staff member and manager was at the bar on their phones. Despite me and the lads over waiting for a pint for 5-10 mins, they noticed a regulars pint was not full and served them first. After laughing and joking with a bunch of girls without their masks on, of course. As a barman myself, I understand how hard it is to keep up with government guidelines. However I can't support a business that doesn't even attempt to create a safe environment as per the law. And besides all that, there is no excuse to be on your phone ignoring customers who want serving. To not only do that, but then serve the regular first is insulting. All and all, I would recommend you avoid this pub unless you like being booted off your table mid drink, paying the wrong price advertised, or flat out being ignored. I definitely won't be back to this establishment."
