Nazrul - Awarded Best Curry House in UK
● Closed“We were meant to go here a couple of years ago then the pandemic hit so it got delayed. It was tricky to book as it's so popular but we got a table for lunch and decided to each have a different tasting menu so we could try everything on offer. The service was brilliant, the food was sublime. The offer of a cheese course before the desserts was very welcome, and the selection of cheeses was great.”

Pink Salt - Indian Restaurant in Finchley
● Open“I wish I’d taken more photos because these 2 don’t really do the food justice. The quality and variety is what stood out for me - starters such as Jeera Chicken made with chicken on the bone, cassava root with garlic and chilli and paneer shashlik were my favourites. Great atmosphere and service as well, plus the wonderful Tusker beer, I highly recommend this place!”

London Stock
● Closed“Exquisite cuisine, best in class service with friendly and knowledgable staff who made the whole evening enjoyable. It was my mother in law’s birthday and we wanted to treat her somewhere nice. Having read the incredible reviews, we decided to dine at London Stock. We ordered the tasting menu and the food was honestly the best food we’ve ever tasted. We dined at a Michelin 3-star restaurant (Uliassi) just the month before coming here, and have to say the food in London Stock is far more superior. Not only was the food cooked to perfection but also the presentation was aesthetically pleasing. Thank you for making my mother in law’s birthday extra special. We will definitely come back.”

You MUST book here, turning up on a Saturday night in the hope of getting a table is slim. The queue of people waiting is a testament as to how good this place is. Huge man size portions and very reasonably priced especially as I tend to order lamb. Thank you for your amazing food and wonderful service.”

I've done a few of the 3 Michelin stars in London and I think La Dame de Pic is as good as those (if not better than some of them) even though it is a 2 stars. Mahirah Fine Indian Dining, Hampton
● Closed“Well you get used to Indian restaurants all being much the same, but at Mahirah they have broken the mould and the difference is in their service. We were greeted well, but rather than being left to peruse the menu, were intuitively offered poppadoms and of course beers (two blokes out for an Indian, how did they guess). After ordering we were left to chat over our poppadoms and pickles (5 beautifully different ones) and quietly advised when our main course was ready, but also encouraged not to rush, but to let them know when we were ready; this was a really nice touch. It might sound like an afterthought but the food was all just terrific, my curry being fresh and spicy but not spicy hot for example. Great food, great service, Great Scott, go give it a try.”
-
Farang London

Otto's French Restaurant London
● Closed“French charm, exquisite cuisine, great service. It feels almost like a time travel. It takes you to good old times, somewhere in Paris. The noise of the city is left outside. Nice and cozy interior. Attentive staff. Top quality French cuisine. Feels very authentic. They do Canard de Rouen a la Presse, which is quite rare these days. I had their signature Simmenthal beef tartare. It is skillfully prepared at the table. We had it medium spicy and it was out of this world. The taste, the texture is just a perfection. I also ordered Agneau en Croûte or Lamb Wellington which was an absolute delight. Another dish mastered to a perfection. At one moment I had an illusion of being a jury member at the French cuisine competition and served with a champion dish. Wine list is well balanced and I liked it had some fine half-bottles as well. The only remark I have is for the plateau de fromages. I wish the selection of cheese could be even better. My strong recommendation for anyone looking for an old fashioned small French restaurant in London. And sincere thanks to the team.”
