Cozy welcoming atmosphere in Guildford

“Our server was a nice gentleman, unfortunately did not get his name. Went with family, for a reunion of sorts. Visiting from Canada, so I've never been here. Ordered the set menu. Tomato soup (it was alright, a tomato basil or a tomato bisque would have been better), the imam's bayild (the topping was amazing, not the biggest egg plant fan), and the cheese for dessert (chutney on the sweet side). Would certainly come back and try something new. Coffee a little on the tart/sour side.”

“Excellent service and food recommended most of the dishes only because I don't eat fish but every thing else brilliant choice .... this was my first time trying Mexican food and I would highly recommend you come here to try something new ..... matt and Ben are comics and friendly”

“Well furnished, comfortable rooms which are very quiet and you don't need to be a plumber to work the shower ! Lots of choice for breakfast which was plentiful, well cooked and presented. We will definitely stay again.”

“We have tried it for the first time and everything is perfect, punctual and delicious food, we tried the menu for two and everything was quite good, what we liked the most was the sweet and sour pork and least of all the rolls, we will repeat for sure, I wish they could do the payment with online card and not with cash.”

I found staff very friendly, warm, helpful and go extra miles to guide you through with different selection of whiskies and provide you with deep knowledge of whiskies. At the end they wrapped my gift in a nice tissue paper. I recommend this shop to every one who are looking for quality whiskies. I will go back again in the future.”

“I ordered a takeaway and thought I would get a drink in the pub next door the jack sparrow in which i found very welcoming and friendly while awaiting my order not only was the food excellent but they delivered it to me where I was having a drink absolutely brilliant service and 1st class food thankyou chertsey restaurant”

“Always a great experience with friendly staff. Poppy has always been someone who goes above and beyond. The bar team provided me with honey, lemon and mint (in hot water) for my sore throat, and it worked extremely well. I also seemed to lose my credit card on the sofas; however, fortunately the bar manager found it and rushed to return it to me before I left the building. I did not catch the bar manager's name, but I am very grateful to her. Thank you and see you soon.”

“I don’t really write reviews but absolutely I am today I arrived this morning at 8.45 am was greeted by a lovely lady who made me feel very welcome, had a chat she was lovely and very polite and well spoken. Explain how was just popping in before was due on a first aid course, so nice not to be shoved in a corner with a coffee and left, she made me feel actually good about myself, I also returned at lunch time was greeted by the same lady, I’d like to pass on my thoughts that she was very sweet and took time with her customers x I will go back again great customer service x”

“The best south Indian restaurant in Woking. The dishes were authentic Madurai taste and was absolutely delicious. The manager Mr. Senthil Kumar was very caring and suggested few dishes which turned out very well. The only concern if I might add is the time taken for the preparation of dishes, but we went during Christmas Eve, which might have been the reason. Do try their dosas with various stuffing options, kari meen pozhichathu and especially masala chai. Was refreshing to see few of the dishes in tamil”

“We turned up as a group of 12 without booking. They sorted out a couple of tables next to each other for us and told us how we could best order our food and still pay separately (the usual nightmare for restaurants catering for large groups)! Food wasn't bad either. Helpful and friendly.”

“I found myself a new favourite... Staff in the Guildford branch are superb and the food is top notch. Totally not what I was expecting and I'm glad I went and worked my way through the menu. The churros are to die for 10/10”
