They literally sing the songs then explain the performance for those who aren't familiar so you understand). The food is great and such amazingly reasonable prices. Am addicted to the mussels and the chicken but they've never quite nailed my steak preference (but that could be more me than them). Highly recommend. Book NOW!”

I especially liked the soft noodles - highly recommended! We were also most impressed with the professional service. So good to be able to order online as most take away services' telephones are constantly engaged in lockdown. We live in a remote spot but the delivery driver found our house straight away. “After taking a break from this pub due to the previous management, I visited last night after work and was very impressed with the ambiance, food and great Guiness. This really in pub terms the equivalence of an Oasis. It's like an English country pub, but in Croydon. The vibe is relaxed with enough people to create a good atmosphere, without the craziness of other Croydon pubs. To eat, the had the stew which at £8.50 was amazing value, the main menu is pizza. To drink we had Guiness which was excellent, the wine selection is very good as well. The service was excellent, both efficient and friendly. The other customers, who seemed to be locals, were friendly and welcoming, but not imposing so we could enjoy our drinks and food at our table, and when going to the bar talk and meet other locals. Highly recommended for those who like pubs as pubs, not flashy wine bars, or sports bars, great food and drink, served well by friendly people with a local vibe, but not cliquey. “Not sure about the older reviews - I see mixed opinions; my experience with it - we just ordered from Rajeev after he moved to the Jolly Farmers pub. Food was very nice, arrived quick with no delivery fee and they’ve got a lot of mains in the menu that I never tried / you typically don’t find in most Indian restaurants. We’ll order again surely and looking forward for the summer to eat in at the pub garden.”
