London Baby Swim - Baby Swimming Lessons
● Closed“I 100% recommended London Baby Swim at Wandsworth, I started classes with my daughter at 8 weeks, Judit is an amazing instructor who makes it a safe, enjoyable and comfortable space for babies as well as adults! Now my daughter is 8 months and loves being in the water, she is confident with going underwater and throughly enjoys the class. The centre itself is very well set out, large changing rooms and a big cafe style area, it is immaculately clean thanks to the hard working and friendly staff.”

Hornsey Vale Community Centre
● Closed“This is a very historic yet humble place, reflecting the origins of the area, it's geography (a valley between the nearby hills), how it adapts to community needs and withstands tides of times and changes of ideology. It is a polling station, an adults services, kids taekwondo, and an auxiliary to a nearby Weston Park Primary, and a birthday and a wedding venue. It had been a family-friendly public restroom for users of Stationers Park (always clean, stocked and tidy) (though occasionally the doors are locked), source of fruit-veg deliveries from nearby farms to urban dwellers, and a habitat of gnomes. The only thing it does not do is clean the dog poo from the streets and host a dog toilet.”

Teviot Centre | Leaders In Community
● Closed“Great community centre. Very vibrant, but peaceful too. Staff are top notch, of the best of helpers. I work for an independent college, teaching a course here. Technological resources are not state of the art, but what is at your disposal is sufficient to fulfil the task at hand. Brilliant, hard-working and respectful bunch of students. Centralised heated flooring and walls makes for great comfort. Lovely surrounding areas and gardens/ greens. Good transport links on the DLR- just a few minutes walk away. Many activities and courses on offer, such as bee-training and fight classes. And what a name to match!”

Slade Green and Howbury Community Centre and Library
● Closed“This centre is a real gem, hidden off Slade Green Road. (Chrome Road which is a brand new road), leading to the Slade Green & Howbury Community Centre and Library is opposite the Slade Green Christian Fellowship Church, next to Elm Road. Once you have found Chrome Road which is a narrow road leading to the centre you will see a sign for the Slade Green & Howbury Community Centre, under that Haberdashers' Aske's Crayford Academy the primary phase. This is next door to Slade Green Primary School. This brand new building has amazing facilities for community users and for hire, great library with new books for all, very good interior design, with a reading den for children. Huge wall mounted pictures of the surrounding area add a real touch of class in this light and airy place. On site is also the Crimson Cafe which serves Barista Coffee, latte, cappuccinos and more. With warm food and snacks. Good service.”
