“Visited this restaurant on Saturday with my sister. We ordered from the lunchtime tapas menu. There was a great variety on offer. Our food was delivered very quickly, was piping hot and fresh. The host and waiters were all friendly and polite. Service was excellent. Highlights were the salt and pepper squid, pork dumplings and Phuket mussels.”

“Just spent a lovely evening at the Black Horse for the first time. Took my family for a Sunday Roast and it was exceptional. Really great food and atmosphere, plus service with a big smile from the lad behind the bar Jamie. All in all a great way to end the weekend.”

“I love this place ! They do good char siu bao amongst others. Then I often try lots of Japanese noodles you won't find in regular supermarkets oriental/asian section even. Then they do moon cake which is really good, or I would have had to go into China Town to get.”

“A delightful independent café in Kingston town centre serving up great coffee and freshly cooked fare. The owner is always a pleasure to talk to and the staff are friendly and thoughtful. Fortunella takes pride in everything it does - and it does it well. The rather splendid Redchurch espresso blend (by Allpress) provides the foundation to all their coffee, and what better way to enjoy it than in one of their large flat whites. You don’t often see those on offer! Breakfast is just as splendid as the coffee, with lots of breakfast staples on offer made with high quality ingredients. Full English was on point - love the flavourful herby sausage and sourdough toast on the side.”

“Called in for lunch yesterday & enjoyed delicious food (my partner had the loaded fries & I had a chickpea burger with fries) & drinks (I had a yummy but somewhat potent Singapore Sling!). Had a real buzz about it (despite the fact it wasn't that busy at 12) & the attention to detail from a decor perspective was great (lots of nods to music & even a skeleton!!). Staff were smiley & efficient too. Will deffo go back again!”

“A excellent range of real ales and ciders . A large interior with a bar in the middle. Snooker table and board games available. A exchange book service too. Also does pizzas to eat in with which where very nice as we tried three out of the four on offer Light music on throughout the pub and TV Screens showing sport but they will switch off if annoying. Well worth going to.”

Really polite staff, beautiful coffee, bad reviews don't cut them slack when they persistently put their heart into the coffee with the amount of hard work they put in every shift. “I really liked this place because the members of staff were lovely and the food was excellent. The outside of the pub is also beautiful because of the lovely flowers. It was very clean and there was plenty of room to sit. The cheese toastie was delicious.”

“A lovely pub in the centre of Kingston with many tv's covering all sports, the choice of beers were cheap compared with many of the other pubs in the area. The staff were friendly and helpful and the place was a very friendly atmosphere. One to visit on your visit to Kingston.”

“good Starbucks in a great location by the crossing. the toilets are usually locked you need to get the code. most of the snacks like the fruit toast and cheese toast are very nice. staff are well-trained and importantly enjoy their Jobs.”

“Lovely friendly bar. Staff were amazing. Food was excellent. We had the beef Wellington which was the best I've ever eaten. Nicola the landlady was very welcoming and Charlie the bar man was very attentive and comical. Will be back next week for dinner after Christmas shopping. A definite yes from us.”
