"Recently taken over from Jaxx Cafe by the Fighting Cocks Pub. The new decor in the Old London Road Cafe makes it feel like you are walking in to a soho pub / record shop. With a focus on music they display what they are currently playing .There is also a comfy couch as well as table seating.All in all a cosy escape from the rain. It has a laid back, easygoing feel which is perfect for working on your laptop. The split level of this shop has always made it quite a striking space. We felt the quality of food and drink could be better but the staff were very friendly and we enjoyed the ambience."
