Eat Well Cafe
“Lovely breakfast, the sausages were the best around! And great prices too :-) Tony the owner is very friendly too. Will definitely be a regular spot for me!”
Hazel Residence
“Fantastic large room on a budget. Strong food smells from the residents kitchen but I'm a good lover so this didn't phase me. I could see this as a problem for others but as for the room and location it was perfect for our trip.”
Basilico Wood Fire
“One of the best pizza I’ve eaten today and it was wood fired pizza, I saw the real wood was burning in the oven and the flames loooove it. Customer service 10 of 10. Thanks, will come again and again ya maaaan”
Max & Andria's Top Cafe
“Very kind staff, highly recommended. Having my full English free of carbohydrates tailor made for my dietary needs while waiting for my girlfriend seeing a client.”
Mimmo's Cafe
“Lovely people working there and great food if anything to cheap (you could charge a lot more).”
Q Bar & Kitchen Shirley

Coney's Cafe and Restaurant
“Excellent cafe I had the pancakes breakfast number 1 that came with pancakes bacon sausage hashbrowns scrambled egg and toast all beautifully cooked and super tasty. The cafe itself is very clean and tidy with very friendly helpfull staff. The menu is stacked with all foods from super health to super treats and also great milkshakes and beverages.”
Q Cafe
“Really good experience. The Q Cafe is clean and the Full English Breakfast was an all-day option which I opted for. The food was cooked well and you can tell the ingredients used were high quality. Very reasonably priced which would explain its popularity. Staff attentive, polite and ensured the cafe stayed clean. Well worth a visit.”
The Surprise Inn
“I've been twice to this place. The second time even better than the first one. They really are seafood experts. Loved it. Today I had oysters and lobster. We were lucky enough to get even some sangria. Highly recommended. I suggest to call to book a table in advance, just in case :)”
The Elm Tree
“Best 'proper' pub in town. The staff are all great, always on it, friendly and welcoming. The pub itself has many superb architectural and decorative features. Food is always top rate, plentiful and good value. Live music regular too. Really warm and lively atmosphere in the evenings.”
Mayday Cafe
“Do a lovely hot chocolate, had that a few times very nice ,had lunch there only once and very tasty shocking to me as I don't really do cafe food (no I'm not posh)it's just food I can cook at home so why pay for it when i can cook it myself at home ..lol..lovely friendly staff very welcoming and clean”
Surrey Street Cafe
“Excellent food, and great prices. A market cafe at its best.”
Costa Coffee
“Love Cappuccino coffee, it's the only coffee I drink as I'm a Tea person but I have Cappuccino when I go out. Love Costa from it's points system to it's cakss etc.”
Cinema @ St John's
“Saturday was the first night for the Cinema at St John’s. It was an amazing experience in a beautiful building with a welcoming friendly team of helpers. You don’t expect to find a proper licensed bar, hot dogs and a variety of delicious sweets and snacks in such a place. The screen is huge and the sound is as good as any cinema that I have been to and they had subtitles. I will definitely be there next time on 19th October for Bohemian Rhapsody.”
Spiceland Restaurant
“I was surprised at the lower reviews. I have ordered takeaway lunch twice. First I had iddyuppam, the only slightly negative comment I can make was that aubergine portion was pretty small. Yesterday I ordered chicken kottu rotti and chicken curry, both were super tasty and I'll definitely be returning.”
ZAN Coffee Shop
“Honestly best vanilla latte I've ever tasted & this is coming from a London commuter who's drank coffee at all sorts of places & big brands. Cheapest coffee I've ever brought and the tastiest!”
Ranna Ghor
“First time using Ranna Ghor. We had one issue - received chicken Tikka Masala instead of paneer. I called the restaurant and they were genuinely sorry and very apologetic and got us a replacement promptly. How they react to a problem is often how I judge a place and this was good customer service. As for the food... excellent all round and we will definitely use again. Impressed!”
