The Plimsoll
● Open52 Saint Thomas's Road, London N4 2QQ, United Kingdom“The waiting staff were amazing, friendly and went above and beyond, even bringing us extra curry mayo (freaking delicious). The chefs were smiley and clearly very passionate about making every plate exceptional, you could literally taste the love. I’ve been following Four Legs for a while now, watching the Plimsoll renovation and finally making it down from Norfolk to enjoy the experience. It was everything I wanted and more, deffo a few ‘this is the best burger I’ve ever eaten’ comments from our table and the clams were bloody incredible. So was the duck and the potatoes and absolutely everything for that matter. Thanks guys, keep smashing it and I hope to be back very soon. Xx”

The Charlotte Despard
● Closed“This pub was dragged from the depths of despair and is now a nice, friendly & homely pub, which is listed in the Good Pub Guide. It has a fine selection of local London micro breweries & beers & wines from around the world. You will not find the regular main brewery brands here except maybe a few select spirits. An amazing selection of snacks & sweets are on offer. The pub also has Legz, the 3 legged pubcat (a Rescue Cat of the Year winner). If you go on Tuesdays there's a free-to-enter quiz with prizes. It also has big screen TVs, bar & board games, darts, a pool table & video console games plus an eclectic juke box. Saturday nights are party nights & a regular vinyl spinner is radio DJ Liz Wheatley. The pub is available for hire for private functions.”

We then after Touring Stamford Bridge we came back to watch the World Cup Draw with some guys from New York City and Melbourne, Australia.”

Joiners Arms
● Open66 Lewisham High Street, London SE13 5JH, United Kingdom“I use this pub occasionally, and I find the staff fantastic and so attentive. The bar is always clean, the empties are picked up immediately. You never have to wait to be served as the staff are on the ball and looking to serve. The owner is a good guy, he and his partner work hard as he does the cooking too. They always speak and make time for everyone that comes in. They regularly have a bit of Irish or country music which I love. I would recommend this place.”

Catford Constitutional Club
● Open“Was unsure if it could live up to the old constitutional but me & my husband were very delighted to see it has. Great new addition to Catford high street. Compliments to the chef, we came this weekend for a roast. One of the best we’ve tasted in all out 47 years. Staff are very welcoming and polite. The young lady who served our food was very lovely, nothing we asked for was too much trouble for her although she was very busy getting peoples food out to tables alone on a busy Sunday rush so thank you to you. This will now be a new local. Thanks guys.”

New Victoria Theatre
● OpenWoking GU21 6GQ, United Kingdom“It’s Pantomime time and have just been to see a matinee performance of Cinderella with Brian Conley. Put simply - amazing, Brian makes the Panto, with plenty of adult gags that’ll go over the children’s heads and lots of staged improvisations with the whole crew. The ugly sisters are award winning (of yes they are!) and are equally hilarious. Brian really is the one who brings the house down with lots of his TV show (it’s a puppet, Dangerous Buttons Brian and more). If you’re in 2 minds don’t be, tickets are cheap compared to London pricing and you can park in the carpark right next door. I’m half tempted to go again (oh no you’re not - sorry I couldn’t resist!”

There were no queues even for the Ladies! Auditorium fantastic and theater style seating. It's clean with not sticky flooring. The security sweep on entry was quick and unobtrusive by very helpful and friendly staff. I would highly recommend.”
