Duchess Theatre
● Open“The show was super fantastic. The Play Goes Wrong. The bar was very good, too. I bought a salted caramel popcorn. I put it under my seat. When the lights turned on and I wanted to take out my popcorn a real mouse ran out. But okay, because she was cute and hungry. ...and this night the thing went wrong, anyway. The theatre was clean and really everything was top level.”

Royal Festival Hall
● Closed“What a fantastic historic London venue! To be honest I don’t think the buildings look from the outside (large concrete block) does it any justice. Inside it’s stunning and houses and the huge Festival Hall as well as big dance floor and event space. There is a large bar at ground level, as well as bars on each of the upper floors, including a top floor bar which has a balcony overlooking London and The Thames. I lovely spot for a drink before the concert. There are toilets on each of the floors (useful to know as there is often a long queue for the ground floor toilets at busy times)”

Laban Theatre
● Open“Deservedly award-winning architecture. Dance studios around the outside, all with natural light and lots of height to move around in. Theatre in the centre that is well provided for with comfortable seats and good technical facilities. There is a cafe area for eating and drinking so you can spend as long as you like there!”

Woolwich Works
● Open“Woolwich works is a large venue in a historic factory building in the middle of the Woolwich Arsenal area. We have been a couple of times to see the london video game orchestra who are amazing in themselves. The location has good acoustics and the team do a great job of getting the sound and lighting just right. There is a good size bar and plenty of toilets so no massive queues. There is not much in the way of restaurants in the area sadly. The are a couple of pubs and small places but they did not really cater well for vegan/vegetarian so we had to eat elsewhere. It's easy to get to via the DLR and the really nice new Elizabeth line.”

The Picture House
● Open“My Experience is wonderful and outstanding, What makes this place so special is the staff who take care of all aspects of convenience and comfort of all residents, they are so kind with their 5 stars way of making you welcomed all the time. That was the cherry on top of a great modern flat that is well maintained and really beautiful. My special thanks goes to Cassandra, and Maddie for making sure any issues I face are sorted. I am happy to be part of the Picture house Family. One final thing to mention is that it is all about who manages the property and believe me Savills proved to be one of the top in the market. I have tried others and touched the huge difference specially in Ilford area. my thanks and appreciation to The Picture House Managed by Savills.”

The Cinema at Selfridges
● Open“Very Beautiful and Stylish little cinema hidden away in Selfridges. Me and My partner have been many times and love it there ! Today we had issues with quite possibly the rudest bunch of kids ( + 2 adults) on planet earth. Talking, shouting, throwing food, Watching videos on their phones and to top it off They kicked me and my partners chairs on multiple occasions. We ended up walking out early. The staff and the manager were super lovely and apologised for our bad experience. The manager had spoken to the 2 adults on multiple occasions but they would not control the Kids. We got a full refund and will definitely be back as the cinema and staff are lovely.”

-
Theatre Royal Haymarket
● Open“I really recommend the only fools and horses musical. Loved it and for some of the jokes you don't have to watch the show. So if you fancy a great theatre show but don't watch only fools and horses still go it is excellent. I have seen some people complain about legroom but where I was sat I had just enough room to move about and I was fine (I'm 6ft 2 so if you are smaller than that you will be perfectly fine, of course it depends on where you sit) Stunning theatre and you really do feel the history of the place. Which really made the show feel the little more special. The show, staff and location were all great.”
-
Hawksmoor Knightsbridge
● Closed“At least this restaurant justifies all the hype. The steaks are good and the rest are all quite standard. We ordered the tomahawk steak. The grill garlic scallops are very tasty. Service is pretty standard. No one pull our wine on the table throughout dinner. Everything is good enough but nothing special and no wow factor. Good enough to earn a 5 star. Food 8/10, service 7/10, ambience 7/10, value for money 7/10.”
