The Delaunay
● Open“This is a beautiful place, especially if you like cheese and a good location! Located on the busy street, it’s fairly quiet inside away from traffic. Here you can expect something nice rather than a run of the mill restaurant. It wasn’t busy when attending mid-week early evening, so makes a good place before heading to a nearby theatre.”
-
The Hill
● Closed“We had Sunday lunch here. The food is delicious. Service is superb. A restaurant for neibourghood. They take care of their customers. Not like the ones in Greenwich town center, some come with very rude waiter/waitress as they are doing tourist/no return business. We liked The Hill very much.”

A great experience, Well done Chef for an excellent meal & thank you ladies for your great service!”

-
Lyle's
● Closed“I like this place. Food is delicate and precise but the restaurant has a casual, industrial local vibe to it that makes it feel less stuffy than other places of that quality. The food is creative and wholesome enough to not be as uninspiring as the fine dining options of that usual standard. Staff were lovely. I enjoy the East London high ceilings and brick walls, and the way the light pours through the windows. More of a spring/summer location than winter though, as it is a bit airy and cold.”

The Prince Albert, Twickenham

Happy to be served by a happy helpful Anna was so refreshing, she was very efficient. I thoroughly recommend this place for food, staff, atmosphere and a nicely decorated and very clean place. I bet its lovely in the garden on a sunny day too. We wished we lived nearer. Glad we booked as it soon filled up within 15 minutes of us arriving.”

Will be back next month when the set dinner menu changes.”

Howdens - Kingston
● Open“I’am extremely happy with my new kitchen which has exceeded all of my expectations and more of what I wanted my dream kitchen to be. I’ve been waiting a very long time for a new kitchen, designed the way I wanted it. The last time my kitchen was done up, was 25 years ago and was made from a display model on a kitchen showroom that we got cheap. So I had to design it to fit with what we had, which meant I didn’t get the layout I really wanted. Howdens did everything possible to make sure that the kitchen was practical to me and also looked amazing. The very friendly staff at the Kingston depot made the whole process smooth with their knowledge and experience, which I thank them for and can’t recommend them highly enough.”

The Effra Hall Tavern
● Open38A Kellett Road, London SW2 1EB, United Kingdom“We came to watch the Portugal / Morocco world cup game. There was one guy manning the bar as the pub got progressively busier with minimal standing room let alone free tables. Every single one of us came back from ordering drinks commenting on the guy running the bar on his own, stunned at how good he was taking multiple orders, completely unphased by the increasing business around him. It was genuinely impressive and I can't praise how good he was enough! V strong selection of beers on tap, big screen for football, and a small outdoor area.”
-
The Red Lion & Sun
● Open“It can be hard to find a good veggie roast that isn’t a nut roast in London, but this was next level. Cannot complain about anything. We were lucky enough to get the last table for two. Service was very quick and staff very friendly. Had to request a bit more red wine jus/ gravy as it’s too good!”
