The Green Man
“The place is an absolute gem. Theresa, the owner/manager, is extremely welcoming to us and our little one. The food is amazing and reasonably priced considering the costs of everything are going through the roof. They don't skimp on quality despite this. The ribs are amazing and I can't wait for the pies to come back on the winter menu. Thanks again for being so accommodating.”
The Pheasant Inn & Restaurant Heathrow
“Went here for a Christmas do a couple of years back, was impressed. Still incredibly impressed when I went back yesterday and had the death by meat aka the Mixed Grill - big portion, plus meats were cooked perfectly. Excellent pub with great food, worth a visit, but better to book ahead if you want to eat in the evening.”
The Dragon Inn
“It's nice to go to a restaurant where they fill up your water glass when you're close to finishing and place your serviette on your lap. The Dragon Inn is on the prices side compared to other Chinese restaurants but you get what you pay for and the food is absolutely delicious. Would highly recommend and to book for popular evenings (Friday night etc) we ordered so many delicious starters we didn't get to a main course. Will try again next time.”
Village Charcoal Grill
“This is by far the BEST kebab house in Surrey. I’m genuinely impressed how fresh & succulent the food is always. Number One”

“Some of the BEST food I've ever had. And my partner says this is the best hummus he's had in his life (and he loves hummus!) Everything was fantastic, every bite made us close our eyes in bliss. Prawn Baklava was another top favorite but honestly it's hard to choose. Can't wait to come back here.”

“Excellent food.. loved the South African theme running through the choices. The pub had a relaxed and cordial atmosphere . Set us up for the fantastic family party at the pub later. Many thanks to all the staff!”
The White Swan
“Great pub by the Riverside, alot of age and character. Good selection of beers on. They even have a cellar bar at the side of the pub to take the pressure off the bar on sunny days, great idea. I recommend all day long.”

White Swan
“Very good food with an original selection of starters and choice of real ales, served quickly and with friendly service. A very pleasant Sunday lunchtime in the garden, would definitely like to come back again to sample the rest of the menu in this well-run and cosy pub in a great location for all the attractions of Richmond.”
The Black Horse
“Such a lovely friendly pub. Staff are extremely helpful and service is impeccable. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch today from a very generous menu and will return again very soon. They also have a wonderful comfortable beer garden and plenty of parking. Most definitely recommend this place!!”
The Winchester
“Soft open was interesting, with some refurb still happening, but what a job. Great beer (Bass on cask w/ option for a sparkler), and fantastic restored interior. Hope it continues to go from strength to strength”
The Rylston
“Ordered Sunday lunch for takeaway twice now and both times they have been absolutely fantastic. I am vegan and can be quite picky with nut roasts as they are often quite dry, but the one from the Rylston is perfect. Roast comes with all the trimmings, including fresh veg, roasties and most importantly Yorkshire puddings. Staff are all really friendly too! Would definitely recommend and will use the service again, thanks!”
The Corner Bar
“A proper old school local boozer the staff are amazing and always friendly.... free jukebox and just a great vibe”
Old Fountain
“Uptown Carribean food, mouth melting chicken was ace. Veg option, chickpea and spinach was well balanced, not too hot but full of flavour. Rooftop terrace is cool spot to hang out. Real jewell.”
The Lion & Unicorn
“Amazing food with a great gluten free selection. They have gf fish and chips and Sunday roasts! The main menu and specials are really special. I took my mum in December and the Guinea fowl with roasted butternut squash was stunning. I had sea trout with the most delicious roasted Jerusalem artichokes. Brilliant seasonal British food in a warm and welcoming pub and dining room.”
The Victoria Tavern
“I went there for a foosball tournament and it was fantastic! It was well organized, the crowd was really friendly yet competitive, the tables were really smooth and easy to play. I loved the beers too, there is a great selection and all I tried were good.”
The Ship & Whale
“One of my favourite pubs in London. Have been out of the country for 7 years but this place is still the same . Great beer, food, atmosphere and service. Its a traditional pub eith a very nice beer garden. When ever back in London will always make a visit. The bbq Ribs promotion on Wednesday is well worth it.”
Beavertown Corner Pin
“Nice bar , it was super calm on my visit , but the main thing is beeeeer . Best London IPA 2 floors and a patio/terrace . +disabled toilet . + pet friendly”
The King's Arms
“I love this place! It retains the identity of a true pub. Friendly bartender and great beer garden. I love it for its essence. You feel right at home. No fake perks or beautiful interior design - just down to earth real pub ambiance that serves real beer and drinks. What more can you ask for?”
Leytonstone Tavern
“Hands down the best food I've eaten all year. We watched an Instagram about this place and had to try, and we were not disappointed. The staff were amazing, I forgot the name of the lady who served us but she was really good. Over all, ten out of ten.”
The Crown
“Edit August 2022 - five stars. I have visited the pub 6 times and have found the service and food pretty consistent, from the first day of opening to some of their most busiest times in the evenings and sunny days. They do roast dinners very well, the condiments are as good as the food and I suspect they are freshly made on site - horseradish had enough burn, mint sauce tastes fresh etc. There is a good selection of draught, as well as soft drinks. The luscombe brand is well worth trying as a non-alcoholic drink. Soda water is also available by the pint which is good to see. As a vegetarian option (can't remember if they are vegan), the allotment salad is tasty and available as main or small plate. I have had it twice and the leaves have always been fresh. If you don't like much dressing I'd recommend asking for it on the side, however it is the right amount for me. I did prefer the salad to the veggie haggis pie as I felt the flavours didn't blend as well with the rest of the filling. If you enjoy meat options, I would definitely recommend the chicken pie as a hearty option. A nice salad option would be the sticky beef salad, although I would recommend taking it as a smaller portion than the large main. The steak frites was delicious, very well cooked, a tasty steak and you definitely can taste is a higher quality cut. If it is a Sunday, definitely try out the roast dinners, you won't be disappointed. I have tried two of the desserts, a morello cherry sundae (with popping candy) and the dairy free Belgium waffle dessert. I think that both were equally good. The cocktails are great, I also enjoy the hot drinks too. If you are looking to visit in busier times, I would definitely recommend booking. The managers and staff are friendly and hardworking, this pub is definitely a welcome treat for the local area. I'd say, to get this review to 5 stars, it will just come with time as we know the hospitality industry in under pressure and novice staff are undergoing training, which can be more complex than it looks.”
