“Amazing food, beautiful hotel and restaurant and lovely staff. What's not to like. The set menu was amazingly good value. I will definitely be going again.”
British Airways Galleries First Lounge
Le Moulin
“Lovely little french cafe with a huge variety of choice for sweet and savoury. Great customer service. We can't wait to go back to try something else!!”
Joseph Cheaney & Sons
“Cheaney is a fantastic company, and Alex (the manager of their Covent Garden branch) is a real credit to the company, extremely helpful and very patient with answering any questions about all things shoe related. Since the start of the year I have become acquainted with the company after venturing into the realms of high quality footwear and have now bought several pairs of their shoes; the company has a very family feel, with staff taking real pride in what is a wonderful quality fully English made shoe. Do stop by - you won’t be disappointed!”

Alex Monroe
“I lost the back of one of my Alex Monroe earrings, and got in touch to see if I could buy one. The agent was absolutely lovely, and sent me out a new back free of charge. It arrived quickly and safely. Great, friendly and caring service!”
Alforno Caffe
“Coffee tastes amazing, they sale their own house blend coffee beans for those who likes to make it themselves at home, I was surprised with the price for a whole kilogram, literally 20 or 30% less than big chains. I loved the atmosphere as well as the manager/owner was very kind person. Highly recommended place for breakfast and lunch.”
Sea Breeze London
“I ordered here for the first time and I loved the food. The brown stew fish was so delicious and flavoursome, the rice and peas were tasty, the steamed vegetables were enjoyable and the dumpling was good. The dumpling was thrown in for free which was a nice touch. The portion sizes are very generous, really good value for money. I phoned the restaurant to see if the rice and peas were included with the brown stew fish and the woman on the phone was really warm and friendly. I've tried many Caribbean takeaways in East London and this one is by far the best. I would highly recommend!”
Alec's Restaurant
“You cannot beat the atmosphere and the food here. From start to finish you will feel special. The food is exquisite and the drinks the same. The restaurant is so nice! Turn up early so you can enjoy the champagne bar!!”
Café Amisha
“Uanama bellll!! Top, Top, Top!! Cafe' Amisha is the best Italian Restaurant in South-East London. All ingredients come directly from Italy, and all the chefs are Italian. All the waiters and Paola are incredibly kind and attentive. The main Chef, Leo, aka "The Maestro", is impressive. He cooks traditional recipes from Apulia and nationwide Italian food. Fregola, Pizza (ask for tuna and cipolla!) and fish are top at Amisha's cafe. At Easter time, ask for a Pastiera, a traditional Southern Italy Easter cake made. Maestro's pastiera is as good as my mum's. They also have a shop for Italian food which has really good stuff and Italian delicatessens. The owner, Francesco, is amazing. He is the most friendly and the nicest person ever. He is a natural people person, always smiling and happy. He also saved my life during the first lockdown and the food shortage. I bougth everything I needed there. He and his staff also delivered food to my place at any hour, including regular fresh fish deliveries.. He is also actively volunteering to help the NHS and the local community. A living hero, in a few words. He truly deserves a half-body statue at the nearby SPA garden.”
Imperial Arms Pub & Courtyard Bistro
“Update........ Tryed the fish Friday menu tonight and was delicious, plus you can still order from the bistro menu so plenty of choices including whole lobster and surf and turf. There's a pre book Christmas menu available for the 1st-23rd of December which looks excellent value for money, small deposit required. Great building with plenty of history. Booked bistro for a Sunday roast dinner. Foods good, does get very busy especially for Sunday lunches. Nice bistro and courtyard. Staff amazing! Professional, polite and attentive. Will definitely revisit and try the fish menu available on Friday's. Very limited parking.”
Joseph Cheaney & Sons
“Just starting a new job and was in search for some quality England made shoes. I made the right choice going into Cheaney. The difference in buying something online vs buying in store is the interaction and the experience from the latter! Marta at the shop showed me how to put on a pair of Chelsea boots properly - very useful advice indeed! I ended up buying a pair of black monk shoes for work, which got delivered to me and they are simply perfect! Will go back for the boots at some point. Thank you for the beautiful products and great service!”
Finch Cafe/Restaurant
“Delicious and well-priced brunch! Lovely space, service and music as well.”
The george
“Had a gorgeous dinner with my family tonight. Authentic georgian cuisine. Badrijani, khinkali and khachapuri are highly recommended. Wine is a bit expensive, but the food price is very good compared to other georgian restaurants we visited in London.”
Ivy House
“Arrived Saturday. Lady could not do more for me. Lovely room. Perfectly clean. Lovely location for shops, pubs, restaurants. Station if required. Ample parking. Will be back. Thank you.”
Savoir Faire Restaurant
“An comforting boutique french cuisine after visiting the British Museum. Waitor has a unique humble manner. Dishes (with photos) we ordered were pleasant and delicious. Love the wall painting and ceiling quotes.”
Langan's Brasserie
“Langans hosted us for Christmas lunch over the space of a few hours. Beautiful dining room, great art work. Delicious plates and wine. The chocolate pudding is especially superb.”
Charles Tyrwhitt
“I’ve been buying CT for years. Usually their shirts, and more recently their chinos and blazers. Their clothing is very good quality and their return policy is amazing (6 month return). They always, always have some discount going so never pay full price- look online for discount codes or just ask for one in the shop.”
The Albany Pub & Dining Room
“Another lovely evening at The Albany. Sitting outside to enjoy late summer al fresco dining while we still can as the evenings start to draw in. Fabulous and friendly service as always. Great cocktails and a Bang Bang Chicken burger, followed by a brownie and ice cream. Sheer bliss!”
Prince Regent
“The most welcoming local pub in Limehouse I turned up to the door and Angie waved me in with her enthusiasm hit it off immediately”
The Blackfriar
“The Blackfriar gets it's name as it was built on the site of an old monastery. When you walk in the first thing you do is look around you everywhere as it is stunning. It is part of the Nicholson chain of pubs so it does decent food, I had a vegetable&lentil pie and it set me up well for a day of drinking! In the 1960's The Blackfriar was nearly lost to redevelopment, which goes to show how fragile the future of pubs even the most historic can be. It is conveniently located across the road from...you guessed it Blackfriars Station, it is on the Thameslink or the London Underground.”
The Brookmill
“Great pub for food and drinks, great staff. Lost my wallet and held onto it for me for a couple of days while I was searching for it. Also lovely big outside garden area.”
George & Dragon
“New landlord and small changes have made a big difference to this village pub. Had Sunday lunch and the food and service was outstanding. Outdoor space is refreshed and much improved. Table service is fast and efficient. Food and drinks were priced above other local pubs but I think it’s worth it.”
Exceline Restaurant and Catering
“I love this restaurant I have been attending for years! The food is fantastic authentically Ugandan including all the main Ugandan dishes From Matoke to chapati, Pilau, beans, beef stew list goes on. The customer service is excellent and the venue us clean and modern.”
Taj
“The restaurant is quiet and cozy, and the meal was homely and generous. We ordered chicken Tikka biryani and shashlik chicken with mushroom rice. We got fresh complementary raita and plates were around 10£. Prime spot, will come back again.”
Hackett London Sloane Street
“Excellent shop front display on this outlet good to see such flair especially with the Chelsea flower show starting soon.”

“Came here yesterday evening - great, friendly pub, good atmosphere and excellent service especially from the delightful Claudia”

“An amazing dining experience. Situated in a listed building with an elegant interior. The Lebanese menu has dishes to suit all tastes from vegan to meat lovers. The staff were professional and the prices were extremely reasonable for the high quality service we received. Highly recommendable.”
