“Located literally 2 min walk from the Southgate station, Band of Burgers is definitely "a must" to visit if you enjoy burgers. The menu is just well designed and inclusive with a variety of beef, chicken and vegetarian options. The shop itself has an instagrammable decor, amazing for taking pictures. Definitely a great place to eat!”

“Nice little zoo in the middle of London. Great place to spend a morning or afternoon with the kids. Nice enclosures with animals that all look well looked after, healthy and have enough living space. Also a big playground with swings, sandbox etc. And they sell coffee and ice cream, what else do you need!”

“We turned to the Ye Olde Kings Head as our first choice pub wasn’t serving roast dinner as they had run out, we are really glad they had run out as we would never have discovered this gem of a pub. We were greeted as we arrived by Karen and she showed us to her table. We all had Roast Dinner and it was amazing, loads of food.... the cauliflower cheese was fully loaded, enough vegetables for all of us and the roast dinner’s were just yummy. We had so much food we couldn’t manage dessert. We will definitely be going back there.”

“Excellent selection of beer, cider, wine and spirits. The prices vary, sometimes much better than large supermarkets but sometimes a fair bit more. The staff are generally friendly and helpful, offering free tasting samples of whatever is currently the preferred option (normally gin and a wine). This store also has a better selection than supermarkets, offering some more hard-to-find options.”

“This visit was a last minute plan because almost all the other places were booked up. And I am glad that we found a spot. Its a massive place with so much for kids to do. The place is well maintained, the animal seem well taken care of! The bouncy castle was a hit and the food was good. We spent just about half a day and kids still didn't want to go home! They have so much space that they can easily get a theme park going which would be great!”

“Really lovely hotel, staff went above and beyond to make sure we had breakfast before they were serving food. The hotel had free parking, the room was well equipped, however the heating stayed on full all night, so we ended up opening the window to help cool the room down. The only other downside was the shower screen is too small. After taking a shower it leaves a puddle down between the bathtub and the toilet. Would happily stay again, it's within a 7 minute drive of Heathrow airport making it a convenient place to stop when flying.”

“We had a fantastic stay. We used it as a base to visit the Harry Potter studio tour which was only a ten minute drive away. The hotel was beautiful and clean and staff very helpful. The room was kitted out with a little fridge so my youngest could have her yoghurt in the morning. Breakfast staff very accommodating to my 2 excited children and because it was my sons birthday we even got an extra treat in our room and a birthday card for him which made his day. Short walk to town centre and Watford train station so will come again for London trip next year!”

“Only had coffees but offered tap water before ordering which was a nice touch. Very good coffee and excellent service. No being hurried to leave and excellent choice of free papers. Absolutely spotless everywhere including toilets Cooling stylish decor. Spacious toilets but only slight minus was still had the old fashioned blow driers which are bad for the environment and not as hygienic as towels. Could spread covid. Otherwise absolutely brilliant place”

“The ancient landscape and special spiritual places of the Larapinta Trail were mesmerising. The 6 day itinerary covered all the highlights and having three camps allowed maximum walking time. Nice to have the alternate long and short days and I learned a lot from the Standley Chasm cultural talk. The guides had said ‘take your time’, ‘be in the moment’ and that’s how I like to walk. “My son has been attending the nursery for over a year and i cannot sing its praises highly enough. The owner is fantastic and ever present, the staff, Georgia, Chloe, Nicole just to name a few are like my son's extended family and all the other staff are excellent (apologies for not writing all the names). The take great care of the children, the information provided is excellent, they help out with transitioning whether its for potty training or for naps etc. The facilities are very good and the food is greatly enjoyed. Most of all a safe, secure and friendly environment, we are at peace leaving him there in an environment he enjoys while we are at work.”
