“A wonderful little hotel very close to the centre of Richmond. I stayed 3 nights for work and will definitely choose to stay there again next time I'm down. The staff were very welcoming and the room while small was perfectly formed with everything you need. Very happy to have stayed there.”

“A lovely grand historical venue with amazing picturesque gardens. We attended a shared Xmas party as two couples joined by 3 other companies having their Xmas party. The staff were amazing and attentive, the food was great and the atmosphere and entertainment was great. Everyone had a wonderful time and I would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to share a party and make some new friends. We didn't stay over so can't comment on the rooms. A special mention to Grant Chatfield, events manager who was extremely helpful and accommodating when we were booking and also gave as a lovely welcome on arrival.”

“We had used the Lodge for our family and friends to stay at for our wedding, and we were extremely happy all round. The rooms were up to a high standard, breakfast was great and more importantly the staff were incredibly helpful. In the run up to the event, they helped with our organisation, and while we were staying there, all the stuff were kind, helpful and very flexible, something particularly demanding when dealing with such a large group. Not only were my wife and I happy with it, but all our guests too had commented with how nice their stays were. If you are having a wedding nearby, we would highly recommend this hotel.”

“Lovely weekend lunch! The menu isn't extensive but there is enough choice and nobody felt they had to compromise. The kids menu was very good, plenty of options to cater for simpler and more adventurous tastes. The triple cooked chips, these days almost a pub cliché, are worthy of a special mention! “10/10 recommend— Renee is absolutely lovely, she was incredibly friendly and professional when showing me properties and was able to answer all of my questions on the spot and even on the weekends almost immediately after me emailing her. Every flat I saw with her was in immaculate condition— clean, well kept and looked exactly like the photos. Furthermore I did not feel any pressure to make a decision in terms of putting an offer and she was also happy to allow me to view the properties again before deciding. Amanda has now taken over in terms of managing the tenancy and she too has been great— like Renee, very knowledgeable and quick to answer questions and ensured I was fully comfortable with everything before finalizing my tenancy agreement.
