Celebrate with friends in Twickenham

“We celebrated my very close friend's birthday here on Saturday and I can honestly say there was nothing negative to say about this place. It was my very first visit to the restaurant and I am happy to say that this place is now at the top of my favourites list. Delicious food, beautiful place and I can't fault the customer service, staff can't do enough and Lilideth is just amazing. I think it definitely deserves five stars!”

“Friendly pub with lots of space and a big function room at the back they use for events. The beer is Fullers and we'll kept and the atmosphere is good.”

Even after I left, the mesmerising taste taste stayed in my mouth. I definitely will be buying from there again. The premises are very clean and attractive. “Vesuvio's did not disappoint us for our Valentines meal. Great portion sizes and excellent friendly service with a smile. I had the bruschetta to start which was so good, the balance of the garlic and dressing with the sharpness of the tomatoes was perfect. For mains I wanted the seafood risotto which wasn't on the special valentines menu but they were so accommodating and said they would give me it anyway and it was delicious. Perfectly cooked and perfectly emulsified making it decadent and creamy also very generous with the seafood. For dessert I had Tiramisu, again proper nice and creamy. Lovely soft biscuits soaked in coffee that tasted so clean, cold and fresh. We will be coming back 100% Keep it up Vesuvio's you're doing such a good job at creating an amazing, relaxing atmosphere.”

“This place is Magical! It is absolute perfection, the food, the amibiance, and Rubik's beautiful hospitality make you feel like you're coming home after years away. It's the kind of place where you think you'll just pop in for a quick drink or a bite, and the next thing you know you've made new friends, laughed with old ones and realized you never want to leave. And the food, "This is so good I could cry" was said many times! Cheers to Rubik, this might just be one of my favorite dining experiences of all times!”

“Went here for dinner on a Friday evening in August. Extensive menu and modern interior. Enjoyed the food. Service was good too. As it was really busy we had some difficulty in hearing each other but not much can be done about that.”

“Malaysian cuisine! Friendly staff and makes you feel very welcomed and comfortable to dine in. Try Makan Makan Fried Rice and tea (hand mixed by Michelle) There's also a Fried Mars Bar!? Worth a try! Restaurant is a bit small with about 5 tables. Reasonably priced.”

“I have been to the Crown for casual evening drinks while sitting outside in their nice garden a couple of times but never been there for lunchtime or dinner. I finally had a chance to book a table (advisable because I tried to turn up in a couple of occasions and they were always full) and had a fantastic dining experience! Food was fresh, tasty and presented beautifully, with great staff and excellent beer and wine selection. I am looking forward to going back”

“Great pub by the Riverside, alot of age and character. Good selection of beers on. They even have a cellar bar at the side of the pub to take the pressure off the bar on sunny days, great idea. I recommend all day long.”

“Location is just on the edge of Twickenham town centre. Good pub ambience. There’s a nice all weather garden terrace which is great. Nice food menu with well thought-out selection of tantalising contemporary dishes and a wide array of ales and beers. I had the wild boar sausage served with creamy mash, green beans and lovely onion gravy. My lunch companion had the pan fried seabass served with green beans, lovely spring onions mashed potatoes. This was topped with white wine creamy sauce that had brown shrimps and chives. I must say the food was generally above average quality. The restaurant team and the waiting staff were extremely polite, eager to help and very cheerful.”

“I've been planning to go to this place for a while, and finally I did. Excellent Indian food cooked by experienced award winning chef, Naj Najmul. The waiter service was really good, especially Emon, who was very friendly and top for customer service and it was a very busy restaurant. Seen celebs there as well. Good selection on the menu, managed to find a parking space on Sunday, outside seating is also available. Would definitely go back again.”

It's not always easy to find a good quality Chinese Takeaway, but with good food coupled with friendly staff and reasonable prices, it is the superior option in the area. Keep up the good work.”
