Casual dining atmosphere in Sevenoaks

“Went to Rome last week and was missing the delicious Italian pizza. Tried Pizza Uno for the first time and it took me back to my time in Italy! Loved every slice!”

“Absolutely wonderful pub. Tables and chairs around the bar but there is plenty of space there as well. Move away from the bar and there are a number of nooks and crannies to get comfortable in. The furniture is eclectic but comfortable and really does fit with the place. The pub used to brew their own beer but unfortunately had to stop. You will see a number of nice shiny beer vats around. To end, the Guinness was excellent as was the Adnam's Ghost Ship.”

“I love smiley, chatty, warm welcomes. When I entered Perfetto Pizza that is just what I received. Don’t let the name pull your attention towards the fast food staple. Perfetto Pizza crafts beautiful examples of all Italian cuisine. All is served in a humble, bohemian beach house that is bright and modernly decorated. Service is fast, attentive and helpful. The food is presented artfully and tastes superb. I loved the relaxed environment; great value, no none sense quality Italian food.”

“As an experienced diner who regularly eats at Al la Carte restaurants every Saturday evening I was lucky to come across Giacomos when searching for somewhere different to try. Crisp white linen table cloths were greatly appreciated as so many restaurants think it is trendy to eat from formica tables despite claiming to be high end. Since our first visit during which we could not fault a single thing we immediately booked to come back within the next two weeks. The staff are friendly and attentive, but not intrusive, and the food is good quality beautifully cooked. At the time there was a small party celebrating a birthday who were all enjoying themselves and from an onlooker received excellent service throughout right down to the end of their meal when they were served champagne. This week we discussed how lovely the lighting is, not too bright but a warm glow. I have eaten every variety of meat they have on the menu. The liver, veal. steak and lamb were all cooked to perfection. It is also nice to see people made an effort in the way they dressed which not only showed respect for the restaurant but for other diners. Who wants to see workman's jeans when you have dressed suitably for a lovely evening meal in stylish surroundings, keep them for the burger bar. .”

“Absolutely fantastic! Hosted my friends baby shower here and I can’t recommend them enough! So accommodating with budget, decorations, etc unlike other venues! Food was delicious, everyone was catered for and commented on how yummy it was. Cocktails were fab too! Honestly, if you have a party to host or you just want somewhere to go for a coffee…(or something stronger) this is the place to go! Most importantly every staff member was lovely, friendly and helpful! 10 out of 10!”

“Have not been to the rose and crown in over 2 years because of covid. We visited sunday. Was so nice to see Karen and john. Such a friendly village atmosphere. Lovely warm log fire. Me and my husband had roast lamb. The lamb melted in your mouth one of the best roast dinners we have had in a long time. We was very lucky to be fitted in as it was very busy so I would advise to book. Looking forward to our next visit.”

“We are still in lock down, so I didn't go in, so it's difficult to give a good review. But we ordered at the window (2 bacon baps with brown source and 2 teas), waited outside for 5 minutes (my wife was complaining about something or other) and other the baps were ready, we eat them outside. It was all very covid safe and the baps were lovely (to be honest, its difficult not to do a good bacon bap....). It will be interesting to go back when it fully reopens.”

“A really nice friendly pub both guests and staff ,dog friendly, dartboard, pool table, juke box outside garden with a few bit for kids. Also have regular entertainment and plenty of free parking in the gamecock meadow next door if car park full”

“A fantastic addition to the Sevenoaks community. My wife and I have been visiting the Pirouni van every week we can in Kennedy Gardens and we always leave with a smile and go home with a delicious treat to cure the midweek blues! I really can't stress this enough - we need people like this in our community to provide us with lovely and friendly dining options and we should all thank them for the work they put in every day to provide us with little pleasures in life that we wouldn't otherwise have. If we wait for our fresh greek Street food to be cooked in front of us, we are always offered a warming cup of herbal Greek tea and friendly conversation. The food itself is excellent and a great addition to the neighbourhood. My wife is vegetarian and they even took on board feedback to provide a larger range of vegetarian and vegan options. Pre-ordering makes life easy after a stressful day at work and we always look forward to something a bit different each Tuesday to look forward to.
