Having bought my vehicle into two different garages (audi approved specialist & a friends garage) both failed to diagnose & rectify the headache. Feeling perplexed & deflated I thankfully then decided to reach out to MC Autos who subsequently investigated the matter, established the problem & resolved the issue. “Thumbs up from me for an impressive service, the guys at Hobbs are very knowledgeable and very helpful, had an MOT booked first thing Tuesday morning, checked car over Monday (nothing like leaving it to the last minute) and found an LED mirror indicator unit wasn't working, phoned Hobbs as there seemed to be variations of the product, but within minutes they had found the part, (genuine replacement , which was also around a third cheaper) ordered one and had in in the shop in a matter of hours, allowing me to collect it, fit it, and keep my MOT appointment. “Recently I bought a new car from Ashburton - I had no idea about the place as I do not live in that area. I saw the car on Auto Trader and also read some good reviews but some really bad reviews too about the garage/trader. However, i thought I will take the trouble to visit the garage reluctantly as I was not sure what to expect. To my surprise and pleasure, it was great to meet the owner, Peter. Not only was he very helpful and courteous but he didn't put any pressure on me to purchase the car. In fact, i was given the time to discuss with my wife about the purchase once we decided on a price - very rare these days. Most would asked me to put down a non-refundable deposit! When I went to pick the car a couple of days later, Peter went through all the details pretty thoroughly with me. Not only that, he even said that should I encounter any problems, not to hesitate to contact him. I would say I received excellent service and very pleased about my purchase. And I will not hesitate to recommend him from the experience I have had.”
