“I wanted to say what a lovely, welcoming, warm place this is. It's not only a good place for my son, it's a good place for me. It's a great way to meet other mums, and other children to connect and play. It's clean, fun, and the staff are so friendly I will really miss them as I'm moving to another area. “As an all day eatery I think they've got this place absolutely spon-on. Please don't change a thing! Very attentive service. Plenty of polite (well-trained) staff, no waiting, taken to the table. Table service impeccable. Hugely impressed. Piping hot food (and coffee) came quickly, fresh and with good quality ingredients, the breakfast was plentiful and was cooked to perfection. Eggs although "fried" on the menu were more like a beautifully steamed - almost poached egg consistency. Gorgeous. Hell, they even open the door for you on the way out. I'll definitely be coming back.”

“Run, do not walk here... unless it's up the hill then take the walk at a brisk pace. They have recently redecorated but that's not the only reason why. They are now serving Chuck & Brisket, a small menu filled with the absolute best burgers I have tasted. Forget Dead Hippies from Meat Liquor, or Shake Shack. The cheeseburgers here are juicy, mouth-watering and the most delicious brioche meat sandwiches I'vehad in a very long time. The patties taste incredible and are so moist. I couldn't fault it and I was a little sad when it was over. Their skin-on fries transported me to my grandmother's kitchen, for me, a comfort food. I would absolutely come back here, and implore any newcomers and regulars to try their delightful menu, otherwise you would be doing yourself a disservice. You will not regret it.”

“Fabio’s is something special. He has the best coffee in the area - hands down. Even Nero doesn’t come close to the quality. Always a joy to see him. The cannoli are incredible. He’s been keeping me sustained for my training sessions for months now and I find myself detouring to his place to get a coffee. You know it’s a damn good coffee when you’ll add time to your daily commute!”

“The Carpenters Arms is a great pub that dates back to the old style beer houses. There's no other pub in Loughton that possesses that kind of style. It has more than ample outdoor seating for the present times during government regulations but to be inside the Carpenters Arms is something to look forward to. It has such a great character inside that most pubs do not possess. Well worth a visit.”
