“This is a lovely old pub with a decent sized beer garden, and covered booths too. The real draw is the food though - we had an incredible Sunday roast (recommend the beef) with all the trimmings & finished with a couple of excellent desserts. I particularly liked the Guinness brownie & ice cream - absolutely lush! The service here is excellent too, really friendly & efficient. We had such a lovely time, we'll be coming back again very soon.”

“Great breakfast at Wednesday 5 August 2020 just when I was really needing it having been travelling from Northern Ireland since 5am by plane then train to a meeting in Enfield. The guys were really friendly and helpful. The cafe was clean and tidy. Ate my fry outside on the footpath at wee table provided. A good start to my day. Thanks guys . One downside....need to get some marmalade in for the toast!!”

“A brilliantly friendly pub, with very welcoming staff. We had the best time on Christmas Eve with a large group of adults and children in their beautiful garden. Food was delicious, staff could not have been more welcoming and helpful, and the atmosphere was amazing. Can't wait to come back for more of the same, thank you all.”

“Been to this pub a few times on a Friday evening while the little one is at Guides. All the staff I've spoken to have been really nice and down to earth. There is normally a good amount of people here but there is plenty of tables and an outdoor smoking area. Good selection of beers, wines and spirits at typical prices for the area. There is often something happening on the weekend evenings, be it a band, quiz etc. The only thing that I'd like to see is the pub pulled into 2023. It is slightly warn and in need of a refurb.”

“First timer! I visited today at 11:30 as I have seen this place become fairly busy during the day. The cafe was clean, tidy and I thought it was well decorated. Even though it wasn't the warmest of days I felt the atmosphere inside had it's own warmth/vibe. The service was fairly fast. The food was tasty and I really liked the presentation of the English breakfast! The coffee was nice and strong as well, not watery more creamy. Overall, I rate this highly as a cafe. I would recommend to friends and family. I will be back soon :) I'll take pictures next time. As promised, here's a picture of the traditional English breakfast. “Never fails to provide a nice atmosphere and good meal with quick and friendly service they've recently changed the menu a bit and it's really lovely. Seating is available inside and out, both of which are both nice and comfortable.”

“Great food, excellent and friendly staff, exemplary service and a lovely environment. My only "complaint" - I couldn't finish my food as the servings were very large. We were there for a late lunch on a Monday and it was busy. We did not have a reservation but we were seated and served politely and promptly. We will definitely be returning. “Just needed more festive tableware lol. Seriously though The wait staff were brilliant and polite with our table of 8. The food was delicious and hot, so much on the plates as well ! none of us could complete it all and only a few managed a dessert, lots of lovely choices on the menu and all was available. Free parking up to 3hrs or register your reg number as a guest.”
