El Molino Restaurant
“Brilliant service. Great atmosphere and the food was as good as I had in Malaga. Derek”
Brothers Cafe & Restaurant
“Delicious Somali food! My friend brought me here and it was the best restaurant meal I had during the trip. We had a soup, then a platter of chicken and beef served on perfectly cooked rice. Accompanied by salad and a super fresh and spicy sauce, let’s not forget the banana. We wanted to try also the date cake, but it wasn’t available anymore, lucky us I guess because we were already stuffed. Now I want to try their other dishes.”
Yaz Restaurant
“Every single staff member was friendly, the vibe was amazing because every customer I turned to look at had a smile on their face. The food was impeccable, I was treated so well that it made my evening which meant a lot because I had just come from work and to experience that type of care from a restaurant was unbelievable. The friend I took thanked me all night for bringing her to Yaz because she also said it’s the best restaurant experience she’s ever had in her life and we got to experience new food we’d never tasted before and the quality of the restaurant was insane. I can’t even begin to describe the mojitos we’ve had, best mojitos ever, I recommend the strawberry one! The presentation of the food was beyond amazing. I cannot thank Yaz enough for such an amazing experience ☺️”
We-Anchor-In-Hope
“Had an amazing evening, Boozy Bingo was fun, Customers all interacting with each other. Staff were friendly and very welcoming. Food was lovely. We were a group of 18 people and nothing was too much for the staff, very accommodating. A great time was had by everyone xxxx”
Café Amisha
“Uanama bellll!! Top, Top, Top!! Cafe' Amisha is the best Italian Restaurant in South-East London. All ingredients come directly from Italy, and all the chefs are Italian. All the waiters and Paola are incredibly kind and attentive. The main Chef, Leo, aka "The Maestro", is impressive. He cooks traditional recipes from Apulia and nationwide Italian food. Fregola, Pizza (ask for tuna and cipolla!) and fish are top at Amisha's cafe. At Easter time, ask for a Pastiera, a traditional Southern Italy Easter cake made. Maestro's pastiera is as good as my mum's. They also have a shop for Italian food which has really good stuff and Italian delicatessens. The owner, Francesco, is amazing. He is the most friendly and the nicest person ever. He is a natural people person, always smiling and happy. He also saved my life during the first lockdown and the food shortage. I bougth everything I needed there. He and his staff also delivered food to my place at any hour, including regular fresh fish deliveries.. He is also actively volunteering to help the NHS and the local community. A living hero, in a few words. He truly deserves a half-body statue at the nearby SPA garden.”
Gulen Ocakbasi
“Had my daughter’s 18th birthday here last night and the staff went above and beyond to make this a memorable evening. Food was amazing and outstanding customer service. Will definitely book another birthday event here and I can’t wait to go back!”
Pettswood Kebab House
“I have used pettswood kebab house for over 20 years. Always spot on with their food, fresh, hot, with generous portions, and their customer service is always first class. You can order over the phone to avoid any disappointment.”
Coulsdon Victoria Club
“Invited to a birthday dance, great dance floor nice venue- only drank soft drinks because dehydration when dancing so orange squash at £2.50 was a bit spiteful for 'club' prices but apparently beer was sensibly priced excellant venue”
The Greek Pitta
“Tasty, well seasoned food, Lovely people, great service. Clean and friendly. Food presentation was beautiful. My son had a school project to complete on Greek cuisine and his google search lead him here. The service received was fantastic both my sons have been back and I am sure we will all remain return customers. Thanks to the staff on that day, especially D, who inspired my sons in a way he could never imagine. He did this by simply taking the time to talk to and acknowledge my sons efforts in the project he was doing - Thank you. I appreciate that part and the food was a bonus! For anyone reading these reviews and still undecided. Try it out for yourself! Go order a dish now!”
Tony's Pita Swiss Cottage
“Great meat quality and super sized portions. Lamb ribs and cocoreć were the highlights. See you soon”
Titanic Cafe
“The owner and staff are really friendly and polite and take the time to have conversations with their customers. They make you feel so welcome that you want to go back. We go at least once a week. The food is great here. I normally have an omelette, chips, and salad or a burger. And the roast chicken is perfect. My friend has a full English breakfast, which looks and tastes really good. For the 2 of us with tea and Coca-Cola comes to about £16. You get a lot of good food for your money, and you leave there feeling well fed.”
Stanwell Kebab House
“Just had a real treat in these bad times fantastic fish & chips friendly service very happy cheered us right up”
Enjoy Cafe
“A small but cosy cafe, very traditional builders cafe vibe. Food is always hot, tasty and comforting. Been a couple of times now and enjoyed it.”
Royal Star
“If you're looking for a place to grab a drink in the city without having to break your bank, Royal Star is the place to go. It's got this plain street exterior but once you step inside, it's like entering another world. The staff is always welcoming and attentive and the drinks are cheap. Plus there's this one bartender that I have my eye on...”
The Cricketers
“Great, decor is unmucked about with old school charm, lovely, a proper pub. Country is a decent pint (after I accidentally posted a review here for another Cricketers pub, also nice, I have amended my review) I told you that Country was a decent pint!!”
Sahara Grill Ilford
“First time for me..went to the one in gants hill.we were seated very quickly as we didn't book.service was fast and prompt. Food was served hot.we had sauté chicken which came in a thick gravey and stake chips. The gravey was very salty .our starts were mind blowing cod bites..I could taste the coating on the fish it was so tasty never had anything like it.would recommend this place for family and friends.prices are reasonable.”
The Real Greek
“Felt like we had stepped back into a little cafe on the streets of Greece! The food was delicious and came very quickly! Can’t wait to go back!! Only thing more I could have asked for was dessert.”
Cafe Rodi
“Cafe Rodi is a great cafe to stop off for a breakfast or lunch time meal if your local to the area. Or even just passing through and there food is always a good sized helping and prepared and cooked very well to. Also the staff and owner of this cafe are exceptionaly friendly and no matter what the weather is like outside, your always greeted with a smile and a warm welcome. And to me that's a rarity these days as for the most part most people it seems in stores of any description are just to busy generally to pay any attention to there customers. But seriously this little cafe is very different and that takes a lot for me to say that. Also there are other amenities not to far the cafe such as a local vets and a good Pharmacy. So your ok on that front to buy seriously if you just feel like a coffee and a sandwich. And your in the local area give Cafe Rodi a look in as it's a great little Cafe. And just for the records me and my wife have been using it for quite a few years now. Also I forgot to mention not so long ago it's had a brand new make over and the tables and new chairs etc plus the new style of decorating has really made this a very cool place. So with nothing to lose give it a try.”
One Over the Ait, Kew Bridge
“Went for a meal before the rugby yesterday. Some of the nicest food I’ve had in a restaurant. Starter of lamb koftas was delicious and the main course of steak and ale pie with mash and greens just as good. Unfortunately we had no room left for dessert! Will be back again.”
The Union Paddington
“An interesting combination of items on the menu, you got to try out. The ingredients sre craftly set on the plate to enhance the visual appeal and already salivates you, thus giving you the feeling of that starter. The portions are fulfilling as well.”
Dough Hands
“The most magical, flavoursome pizza you’ll ever try - mama dough hands aka Hannah pours her heart into these glorious slices of heaven and you can taste the love ! If you don’t know, get to know!!!!!”
Ewell Fish Bar & Kebabs
“My family absolutely love this takeaway! Incredibly friendly staff. Absolutely wonderful food at a reasonable price (both fish and chips/ kebab items). Fast delivery most evenings and never anything wrong with the order in our experience.”
The Windmill
“Hooray! The bar has been re-opened. This was one of my favourite locals to go to and then it closed during Covid. I’d kept my fingers crossed it would come back as my choices are Wetherspoons, The Crown or other less salubrious places. This is lovely. The decor is tasteful and simple, prices are keen (competition from Wetherspoons across the road). But it has so much more charm and class. The Malbec last night was excellent, service not just with a smile but with complementary nuts. The open fire was a wonderful surprise and a rare treat these days. I really hope those locals in Cricklewood and Mapesbury make sure they come and visit this gem. No more traipsing down to Kilburn or West Hampstead. Why would you when we’ve got a great pub in our own road? See you there!”
