“Family of 4 with young children we are. Carvery Sunday lunch which was great value for money! The turkey, gammon and roast beef were beautiful and juicy. good selection of vegetables to choose from. Roast potatoes were nice crispy and not over baked. children loved softplay area of course! Happy parents with drink and lunch easy supervised from table area. 20 children max for softplay area if busy they do one hour slot for enter softplay. and socks need as usual rule of other softplay facility. We spend 1.5hs to eat and couple drinks. ealy lunch is better to let play children and eat. after 1:30/2pm getting busy for Suday lunch. We'll be back for our Carvery lunch soon! Thanks for Eddie who look after guests and keep safe and clean softplay area for family!”
Butterchurn
“Arrived at opening time on Sunday and we were given a warm welcome at the bar. Our drinks and food orders were taken efficiently and in a friendly manner. Food was served hot and tasty. We would definitely return if we are in the area again. Thanks for a great meal and service.”
Dog & Fox Pub Wimbledon
“I was attending an event on a function room rather than the main pub area. It was lovely. Food was good enough, great variety of drinks, nice and attentive staff. The room is nicely decorated and very luminous and has it's own bar.”
White Lion of Mortimer
“Friendly locals local pub, would have liked to stay longer, but things to do etc etc. Thank you for the hospitality”
Morton Arms
“Great pub, fabulous landlady, skysports, reasonably priced. What's not to like.”
The Barley Mow Pub Mayfair
“I booked The Snug at The Barley Mow for a client lunch event. From beginning to end the experience was delightful. We booked for canapes then the feasting menu and it was excellent. Top marks for the gorgeous bread and creamy butter, vegan shepherds pie and moist chicken. We shouldn't have fitted in the amazing sticky toffee pudding but we just about managed. We had overwhelmingly positive feedback from our clients about the whole experience. BIG shout out to our main host Belle who could not have been friendlier and more accommodating. It would be nice if they offered to save you a space in the bar if you've booked the Snug and wanted to continue but we managed to find a corner that worked to continue the party. Thanks all, we'll be back!”
The Gloucester Arms
“We booked online for a specific time, we we're welcomed and the table was ready for us when we arrived. I downloaded the app without any issues, staff offered to help with our orders in case we ran into a glitch. Drinks arrived promptly, the food arrived warm. Excellent quality and as expected from a pub in a prime location. The interior is charming, a truly British ambience. The Greene King IPA ale is delicious. Fish and chips is tasty. Price range in this pub is as expected. They have outside seating. There is a step from the pavement into the premises and also another step to go to the toilet level. One thing to consider for wheelchair users and with prams. There is another entrance on the side, not sure if this is a step-free entrance. All staff we encountered were nice and friendly. I can go back here again without second thoughts. Lovely experience.”
Ye Olde Cherry Tree
“Festive food for everyone ! This is a beautiful restaurant and the staff are so friendly and accommodating ! Andrea in particular was so wonderful, so kind! We even got Christmas crackers ! Definitely recommend !”
The Moon on the Hill - JD Wetherspoon
“Lovely pub over two levels with a small beer garden out the back from the upper level and to the side of the lower level. The usual seating options available and everything was clean and tidy. The staff were lovely as was the breakfast. Afterwards, the Guinness was also proven to be excellent. Lots of interesting tree men throughout the pub - not sure why”
Sir Julian Huxley - JD Wetherspoon
“Very nice example of the Wetherspoons. Nice friendly staff and clean toilets. There’s a beer / smoking garden at the rear. Use the app to order if you don’t fancy queuing at the bar. Refillable tea/coffee for £1.49”
Chelsea Potter

“One of the best pub's for sport and karaoke in North London on a Friday night apart from the first Friday of the month”
Goose Walthamstow
“We have come down from Yorkshire and staying nearby and saw here and thought....beer! This pub is fantastic, Raf, has looked after us very well. Honestly feel like this is our local rather than a pub a couple of hundred miles away from home. Thank you 100% recommend.”
The Royal Oak
“We went to the Royal Oak almost by chance since we were exploring London and we got hungry, being this the only Pub opened nearby that accepted card payment. Staff was super friendly and the food was sufficient for us to go from 10 am to night without eating (We ordered a pie which comes with chips each). I was surprised when I saw the rating it has due to bad reviews from years ago. If you have the chance to go here, do so! You'll have friendly service, decent food and a space to rest from all the walking one normally do when exploring.”
The William Morris Bar
“This is my favourite local of all time, they are constantly doing avents. The staff are cracking..I mean if you are looking for a quiet drink then take your backside to weatherspoons”
Three Crowns, Stoke Newington
“Huge meal! A lovely roast chicken served with all the right veggies. It's on the corner of Church Street and The High Street with a car park round the corner. Large, modern with comfy vintage furnishings. My mum reminisced how parts of it used to be a building merchants she patronised in the 80s. Good, pleasant service, we were checked on about 3-4 times.”
Ferry Boat Inn Tottenham
“Amazing place with great staff and service. Been coming here every week for a year and have always been satisfied. It's warm and cozy inside at winter and have big backyards for summer dinners with view to clean and fresh water. Menu here is big with a reasonable prices. we do not drink alcohol, but there is a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to order. Only one thing you need to be aware that at evening/night after dusk you may see some animals walking around, they are not harmful, but may scare someone. recommend to visit!”
The White Hart
“This is a fantastic pub with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The pub features a spacious and comfortable outdoor area, which is perfect for enjoying a drink on a sunny day or a mild evening. The outdoor area is well-decorated with fairy lights and greenery, which creates a cosy and charming ambiance. Inside is spacious and has a relaxed and inviting atmosphere, with comfortable seating and cosy lighting that creates a warm and welcoming ambiance. Always appreciate a darts table and a pinball machine. The darts table is well-maintained and the pinball machine is also a great addition, a rare sight in the UK I'm always happy to see. The pub also has a beautiful fireplace, which adds to the cosy and welcoming atmosphere. The fireplace provides a warm and comforting ambiance, making it a great spot to relax and unwind during the colder months. Aside from the great atmosphere and activities, The White Hart also boasts a fantastic drinks selection. They have a great range of beers, ciders, wines, and spirits, as well as cocktails. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly, and are always happy to help guests select the perfect drink to suit their tastes. Overall, The White Hart is a wonderful pub that offers something for everyone. Whether you're looking to enjoy a drink in the outdoor area, play a game of darts, or simply relax by the fireplace, The White Hart is the perfect spot. The friendly staff, great drinks selection, and range of activities make it a must-visit spot in Stoke Newington.”
The Goldengrove - JD Wetherspoon
“Friendly staff and very nice pub. Prices are affordable but that does not reflect the quality of the food and drinks. Food was piping hot freshly made which i did not expect. Lovely beer garden with plenty of seating. Practically enjoying the 8 inch pizza.”
Railway Telegraph
“Hired the conservatory for my daughters 21st , had a great time ! , good DJ, pleasant and helpful staff and thanks to Pam the booking process was smooth , thanks to all at Railway Telegraph !”
Railway Tavern, Woodford Green
“Popped in, with no previous experience of the pub and not having been in Woodford for 20 years or so. Surprise, the pub was welcoming, light banter as much on tap as a range of beers and lagers. Well worthy a visit.”
Hill Top Tap
“Great looking pub. Helpful staff on shift as well. I popped along to look at the quality of the bar following a referb for a project I am working on and was impressed. Good selection of drinks and nicely presented and played out. Will pop back for a few drinks ks sometime soon”
