The Barley Mow Pub Mayfair
● Closed“I booked The Snug at The Barley Mow for a client lunch event. From beginning to end the experience was delightful. We booked for canapes then the feasting menu and it was excellent. Top marks for the gorgeous bread and creamy butter, vegan shepherds pie and moist chicken. We shouldn't have fitted in the amazing sticky toffee pudding but we just about managed. We had overwhelmingly positive feedback from our clients about the whole experience. BIG shout out to our main host Belle who could not have been friendlier and more accommodating. It would be nice if they offered to save you a space in the bar if you've booked the Snug and wanted to continue but we managed to find a corner that worked to continue the party. Thanks all, we'll be back!”

The Dickens Tavern
● Closed“Came to London for a weekend away and stopped by for a family meal. Food was lovely and so many varieties of drinks to choose from, the pub is well stocked. Bar area looks stunning with the decor, the place is kept really clean and tidy considering how big it is inside. Joanne the manager was a star and so polite, friendly and funny made us feel so welcomed, believe she was working with a lad called Michael who served our food (10/10 for the fish and chips and burgers) and was very helpful and an absolute pleasure. Pub also has a pool table which was very cool as we haven’t seen any in our short stay here. Will definitely be back when we visit London again we can’t wait”

The Elephant and Castle Pub
● Closed“Excellent pub, unpretentious, with a nice buzz. The staff seem to be genuinely nice people who want to do a good job, which seems to be rare these days. I'm very happy to have found this place. It has two lovely real ales, the session ale is particularly nice and very reasonably priced. For that reason alone, I'll be going back.”

Two Brewers
● Closed“What a great pub! Found this when looking for somewhere to stay when going to Harry Potter studios. Really cosy feel to the pub. Really attentive and happy staff make the place feel welcoming. Great, reasonably priced food and good ale. Exceptional breakfasts aswell. Stopped in a family room that was spacious and had everything you need, maybe a little dated but very clean. The very large bed was comfy as was the sofa bed for our daughter. Good base for the studios and within easy reach of the big smoke. We will be back, thanks for a lovely stay.”

Bar 1
● Closed“This restaurant was flawless! From the outside where there is plenty of parking at the rear of the premises to the front tables to the interior decor and comfy seating. I chose the Bar 1 burger as they only had the lunch menu as they were members of staff down on the kitchen. It was delivered within about 10 minutes and was delicious. I could have had another. I asked the bar server for a selection of sauces rather than the standard mayo and ketchup that was offered and she gave me sweet chilli, English mustard and brown sauce. She couldn't have done enough for me. She was brilliant. Needless to say I will be visiting again.”

Great portion size too. All the meat on the mixed grill was spot on. Both really happy and exceeded expectations. Asked for the chefs name and it was Henry I believe. Well done to him and the rest of the team. Will come again 100%”

Chequers Corner Brewers Fayre
● Closed“This is one of my favourite places to visit when I am down in London for work, however, depending on the crew that is on the floor the service level seems to drop massively. The landlord and the beautiful lady that works beside him are great people and always helpful, perhaps the staff needs to learn a bit more on customer service skills so the level of service remains consistent.”

The Orchard Beefeater
● Closed“Thank you to all of the staff for looking after us this evening and giving us the most excellent service. We came here tonight as a couple to celebrate my birthday and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we had a fabulous night. The food was delicious (we ordered from the festive menu) but the staff were amazing as nothing was too much trouble. I have a range of medical needs, however the staff made sure they accommodated these whilst still being friendly and professional at all times. A big shout out to Kacy (our waitress), Taylor the amazing bar man and Henry who helped out to ensure the service run smoothly - what a credit to the Beefeater team, thank you guys.”
