Manny Dartin Cafe
“Amazing experience! Beautiful and fresh food and crazy good coffee ! Waiter coming to Us with ring light to help take pictures was hilarious. Im definitely coming back with friends !!! Not a lot of space for buggies and no kids menu so not really kid place but atmosphere was incredible! Love the music and cocktail!”
The Wilds Cafe
“Wow!!!!! What an amazing find this place was. We had the most amazing boozy brunch! I was blown away by the vegan fry up, huge and full of flavour. BF had the best eggs benedict. Please visit the gorgeous place, wonderful food, amazing staff! The cakes are absolutely delicious too, think I found a new favourite spot!”
The Grind Café
“SUMMARY: Lovely friendly cafe / restaurant. Consistently good. We've visited on different days at different times - always hard-working, polite, diligent, and serve great quality food and drinks. Today's pictures are on a Sunday and the place is very busy - but we don't mind. It can be a bit noisy - but it's a cheerful chatty noise. We have been here when it's super-quiet and peaceful, so it's up to you to choose a good time depending on your mood. THE MENUS: Great choices of breakfast, healthy options, Mediterranean, brunch, lunch and snacks. We're never bored with the choices. Today's photos are the grilled chicken salad after the gym. Substantial, fresh and delicious. See photos of the menus. PRICES: very fair and reasonable - generous portions. DECOR & COMFORT: Contemporary look, nice, comfortable and a choice of indoor and outdoor. At the rear there is more outdoor seating in a cute yard but is down some steps. THE SERVICE: Always good. Very attentive and well trained staff. Eye contact and a genuine concern to make your visit good. They will change things, fix things and want to do the right thing for you. TOILETS: Very clean, smell-free, large, adequate with baby-changing fold down table. Step-free level access for buggies and wheelchairs. See photos. BUT... no handrails for the disabled which really would be a bonus. There was a chap in a wheelchair in the café when we visited, and it would be so much better putting a few more facilities for the less able. (Additionally, the Café entrance step could be corrected to allow for step-free access. It's very small, but I know from experience that even these small steps can be stressful for the less-able.) Finally, regarding the toilets: it is a fashion these days to install really high-powered hand driers. The one in this toilet, like many, is DEAFENING. At some stage, the law will change and these will be removed. Illogically loud. (And you can't put your wet fingers in your ears whilst trying to dry your hands! ) THE LOCATION: Busy part of West Wickham near a cross roads and the local council gym-swimming pool. So, parking outside is on the meter - see photos. The street across the road is free is you can find space (except 1-2 pm, Mon-Fri... be careful, you will get a ticket!). Or, pay to use the gym car-park. OVERALL: You can see from the ratings that The Grind is well respected and loved amongst the locals, the elderly, the young, parents with children & babies, groups, alone, the lads from the gym, the girls on a chatty afternoon... well liked by all. Cheerful, lively, successful. Well done to The Grind. We'll be back!”
The Nest
“Lovely place! Plenty of seating, the decor is very nice and cosey. The lady who owns it is just so lovely and welcoming and to top it off the food is delicious and reasonable priced and the special teas are so tasty. (Wishing tree is a nice touch too) Will definitely be going back”
Cafe Deluxe
“Fantastic food. Great staff. Friendly owners. The young lad Ty who took our order was brilliant. Enjoyed it so nuchal we all went back the next day. Will definitely be going back.”
Clarnico Club
“Excellent coffee. Best in the area. Food looks good too but I didn't have any on my visit. Lots of areas to sit. Gets incredibly busy at lunch time.”
Il Mulino
“Spent a lovely evening at Il Mulino celebrating a 21st Birthday. Very friendly staff. Lovely atmosphere and very good food.”
Café Chai
“Have been two times before an afternoon walk in Banstead woods. Tried various omelettes and a bacon and egg sandwich, all were lovely. The omelette with sides is a big portion which I share with my 4 year old. It's my aim to return and try the delicious looking scones. There's only one toilet which can result in small waits but it was relatively clean. Environment busy but comfortable and pleasant on the eye.”
GOZLEME HOUSE
“Love this place, menemen is great on a cold day and the staff are v friendly”
Johnnies
“The menu has plenty of options to chose from, there is something for everyone! Service is great Reasonable pricing - Portion size is generous so you're getting your monies worth Gets very busy as its a popular spot for locals and businesses”
Brothers Cafe & Restaurant
“Delicious Somali food! My friend brought me here and it was the best restaurant meal I had during the trip. We had a soup, then a platter of chicken and beef served on perfectly cooked rice. Accompanied by salad and a super fresh and spicy sauce, let’s not forget the banana. We wanted to try also the date cake, but it wasn’t available anymore, lucky us I guess because we were already stuffed. Now I want to try their other dishes.”
Em’s Kitchen
“Great little place. Have been quite a few times and always great. Breakfast is delicious - not quite 100% on the eggs but that is personal preference. We went with our son recently and they were very accommodating with a high chair. I would recommend caution taking a pram because the place is small and if it is busy - as it often is - it can be awkward managing that BUT it is busy because of how nice it is.”
La Cafeteria
“A small Italian based Restaurant that provides good food at reasonable prices. It started small but they have expanded over the years. The restaurant provides two menus, specials of the day and a set menu. You cannot go wrong with either one. They can cater for small and medium groups if you make reservations. An outdoor area is available when the weather is nice. This restaurant is good value for money and will not break the bank. A light dinner for two cost me under £40 pounds. Staff are friendly and accomodating.”
Cafe Macarong
“Lovely spot for a coffee and cake – but it’s more than a café stop. They have books for you to read! This place provides a soothing sanctuary of calm for those looking for a place of rest and reflection. And it’s just yards away from Kew station. Serves fantastic coffee. Inexpensive. We love their incredibly tasty food, such a huge array of vegetarian and vegan options. Nice friendly atmosphere. Yes go browse the shelves or your newly-purchased reads while you sip a latte and chat with the owners about their most highly-recommended books of the moment. Kew Bookshop is just opposite.”
Duncan Terrace Cafe
“Delicious English Breakfast! A bit lighter than a greasy spoon diner and just as flavorful. The gluten free toast was exceptional, and I was a big fan of the coffee. My only critique is that the eggs were slightly overcooked for my tastes; I wish I had gotten a bit of runny yolk. Still tasty! Fast, friendly service. Cute outdoor seating. Would visit again!”
Joy Cafe
“Honestly, this cafe has been my favorite for years(Before it was called tartine). The prices are very reasonable, great value for money I recommend the sandwiches. The service is always high quality and they have contact plugs so you can work/study whilst sipping a coffee or fresh squeezed smoothie.”
Bar Cafe 222
“Great place to enjoy your time and your coffe, very good atmosphere and decoration, staff is very friendly. Very satisfied! Highly recomanded to everyone.”
Brook Cafe
“Just where you would expect a good cafe to be, tucked away from the main roads. Friendly staff and great tasting food.”
Rio's Coffee Lounge
“Amazing home made food at low prices, my first time in an Albanian restaurant and am very impressed, try the "Tave Dheu" for the main and pieace of white cake for desert. They also have a nice red wine.”
Hamlet Cafe & Restaurant
“Now that's what I call a decent sized breakfast! Nice cafe. Friendly staff with good quality food and service. Reasonably priced. What's not to like!”
Poppy Cafe
“Very nice food at reasonable prices. Staff friendly and attentive. Would definitely come here again”
Gaff
“Delicous. Fresh, heathy and tasty. Their Mochas, Sausage rolls and Avocado on toast are top notch, plus they’re dog friendly. (Forgot to take pics, but the food is InstaGram-worthy!)”
Georges Cafe
“Best English breakfast in the region! Can't go wrong with George's caffe”
The Bash Restaurant Cafe Bar
“The food was delicious , authentic and came quick and hot. The service was lovely and as we were the first people there we had all her attention and she made sure we were comfortable. Tia Maria Cafe

Nata's Coffee Bar -Tooting
“This little place is my favourite place to go when in the area. Great food great staff. Don't be fooled by the size of the place. You find it hard to find quality like is in bigger more established place's. Pop in and try it you will not regret it. Thanks ladies”
Bromley's Cafe / Deli
“Lovely cafe at the Leyton end of Lea Bridge Road. It was a miserable rainy day so it was quiet. Great service and nice decor. Basic cafe breakfast but good value.”
