“5 stars! it's TW2 which makes it Twickenham! it's middle-class heartland! In this end of London, it's regarded as somewhat a status symbol symbol to be seen at the bar, on a friday evening, sipping on a babysham out of a champagne coupe glass. Elegance and sophistication.”

“Mugs Patisserie has to be my favourite coffee shop in Twickenham. I love coming here on a Saturday or Sunday morning for a slow relaxed cup of cafe and a pastry/cake. It can get busy but not in the same hectic/heaving way you may see in 1-2 other places in Twickenham, nor is it the empty soulless place you see with so many chains. This hits the sweet spot and the pastries are wonderful and coffee great. The staff always offer a big smile on arrival. There is some writing on the wall that says “You cannot make everyone happy - you are not coffee”. A little place of joy!”

“I visited here today after years of abusing my hair. I was in major need of professional help. I sent one message on Google and before I knew it, I was called, we had a chat and I was invited straight in for an appointment. I was seen by Zoe, who can I just say was amazing and eased all my nerves. she sat me down and really listened to my hair history, without making me feel bad for how rough my hair was. the whole time Zoe made me feel comfortable, gave me the best service and the nicest small talk about life. I left with a cut that I was comfortable with, hair that felt incredibly smooth and healthy and some products to help me keep the magic at home. the salon, the staff and the experience has really eased my anxiety and I cannot wait to be back for my next trim in August. “Lovely cafe, with great food and drink. I hung out for an extended period of time and worked, while waiting for glasses repair at nearby Specsavers. And the staff have been super friendly and accommodating. Much appreciated shelter on a rainy day!”

“I have been to the Crown for casual evening drinks while sitting outside in their nice garden a couple of times but never been there for lunchtime or dinner. I finally had a chance to book a table (advisable because I tried to turn up in a couple of occasions and they were always full) and had a fantastic dining experience! Food was fresh, tasty and presented beautifully, with great staff and excellent beer and wine selection. I am looking forward to going back”

“Puccino's is genuinely one of my favourite coffee chains. The staff are always so friendly and the coffee is always really good. I really like the guys at the Whitton Station branch as you can have a nice chat with them whilst you wait for your coffee. Always highly recommended!”

“I went into this shop last night to buy some wine for a dinner party I was attending. I know very little about wine but the lady informed me of what to get and advised me very well. I brought a red and white bath organic, both very reasonably priced. When I took them to the party everyone loved them and I wish I got more bottles. I didn’t catch the ladies name but she was tall and pretty. I would like to thank her for her advice and if I’m in the area I’ll definitely be going back.”
