“Green King pub. Nice pub very close to the town center and high Street. About 2 minutes walk from the station. Plenty of screens for TV viewing. Good service and decent food. Not too expensive either. It was very empty when we visited on Sunday evening.”

“Melvin was really helpful and friendly and communication was great whilst he sourced the fabric for our new seat covers. The delivery guys arrived early and were also very friendly and efficient . I did feel for them as they had a dog and 3 cats to fend off but they did so with a smile. The covers were not easy to fit but we appreciated them doing so. The covers look fab and we are so very pleased. Would definitely recommend Chaplins - great service from everyone we dealt with.”

“I visited this lovely place a few months ago. I'd never tried Chaii, nor Milk Cake so I was in for a fabulous surprise! I had the Pink Kashmiri Chaii, and a Pistachio Milk Cake. I love my food and have a sweet tooth, have eaten in many countries but Oh My Days, this beautiful assault on my senses was sublime. The smooth, silky chaii and the beautiful texture and flavours of the milk cake were like heaven in my mouth. I really hope I'll be back in the area soon, definitely on my list to return!”

“Fire and Ice is amazing the coolest bar in the area on point with anything similar in london but local. The staff are fantastic, the drinks are amazing, an all round fantastic experience. “We stayed here for just one night. Beds are comfy rooms are clean and tidy. Staff on reception was also lovely. Breakfast food was lovely but there was one member of staff (man) as the girls was so polite made you feel like you was an inconvenience breakfast was served between 8-10am we got there about 9.25am and he made us feel like we had got there at 10am. We had to wait for a table which was not a problem but when we was seated the table was not set up properly we had to keep on asking for things Milk spoons the girl realized there was no side plates and we had to ask for our toast twice. Maybe it was a busy morning”

The food was delicious and served hot. We chatted with the chef who welcomed our questions and advised us on the various sauces that accompanied our menu choices. Our family was particularly fond of the great gourmet burgers and my husband enjoyed tasting a good variety of the local brews (Henry the gaffer/bartender was very accommodating).
