I phoned ahead to make sure clinic was running and was advised that queuing could be up to 2 hours as booked appts have priority. However I was told pm was quieter. We’d been mentally planning the kitchen for a few years so we had a clear vision - which Helen managed to bring to life with her design. As with any big build we had a few hiccups on the way but Josh was great in helping us out and persistently chasing down our missing appliances which were suffering from supplier delays. “Got there by accident as me and my kids were just passing through the area and stopped for something to eat. Place was packed and it seemed that we should have a reservation to make it easier for everyone (Sunday afternoon) but staff was brilliant and very helpful so they managed to get us a place to sit. Food was amazing, place have a great village pub vibe to it and people who work there are very professional. Prices are very decent. One of the best pubs we visited so far. Highly recommended if you are around.”

“One of the oldest Pubs in Dartford and Tbh the best one. A good bunch of requlars and very friendly bar staff. It is always kept clean and tidy and has a great selection of beers wines and spirits. Can be quite busy on weekends. Definitely a place I would recommend to anyone”

“Ive driven past this little gem for years but recently went in for the first time for a 'baby shower' party. The pub is a fair size and has a wonderfully proportioned function area (which I hear from my friend was free to hire!?). The staff were amazingly welcoming and made me feel as though I was a local punter. Prices were average for the area and all in all, I had a wonderful time. Only thing to watch out for is the carpark at the rear of the pub was overwhelmed, maybe due to the special function that day. I found it easier to park on the road around the corner.”

Queuing and getting around the shop can be a nightmare when busy, but if off peak then you can usually be in and out within a minute. Staff are overall very friendly there and helpful if you have questions.”
