“I came here on Wednesday and had a great experience. Limitless hog roast or wings with sides and a 2 pint stein of beer for only £25pp... Can't go wrong there! Food was delicious and our server Marco was really friendly and went the extra mile. Lots of choice on the menu of BBQ food, desserts and drinks and I can imagine on a busier evening the buzzing atmosphere and live music must make it even better. Will definitely be returning soon!”

Similar to what another reviewer mentioned; too often you order "classic" neopolitan pizza and the toppings either slide off, or there is no crunch and you need to use a knife and fork - that is not the case here. Bases are immaculately firm and crispy, toppings are generous and high quality. Just an all round top drawer pizza”

“Visited this restaurant with a friend and we had Phad Kee Mao (drunken noodles) and chicken and black bean sauce. The food was absolutely delicious and could taste the freshness of the ingredients. “Great and authentic Korean food. Super fast service in seating and in food preparation. I confirmed with the staff that all the chicken and beef dishes on the menu are HALAL. We went at about 6:30pm and only had to wait about 5 minutes for a table despite it being very busy. The food is ordered via your own mobile phone by scanning the QR code located on the table – but if you have any questions about the food the staff are very friendly in helping out as they did with us. The food arrived pretty quick after ordering even in a packed house. Great tasting food. Very friendly staff. They were kind, efficient and hard working. One of the staff members kindly explained what each of the kimchi we ordered were and let us know the best way to enjoy it with our meal - even in a busy restaurant she took the time out to have a conversation with us so we could have a better experience. Bento Bap is located very close to Aldgate East Station however if you want to save some money on train travel, I recommend getting off at Whitechapel Station and walking down as it would be cheaper since Whitechapel is in Zone 2. “A lovely clean bright family run restaurant,no paper napkins or table cloths here. Nice clean linen cover the tables with a bottle of spring water. The temptation to cut back over 30 years has been resisted. There's a comprehensive reasonable priced menu with unusual dishes I've never seen before. This make a refreshing change as other restaurants have cut back,simplified and restricted choice. The service was good with a complimentary drink offered. The food was good, meat portions on the small side but sufficient enough to fill me up Go your be splendidly surprised.”
