“Called in for lunch yesterday & enjoyed delicious food (my partner had the loaded fries & I had a chickpea burger with fries) & drinks (I had a yummy but somewhat potent Singapore Sling!). Had a real buzz about it (despite the fact it wasn't that busy at 12) & the attention to detail from a decor perspective was great (lots of nods to music & even a skeleton!!). Staff were smiley & efficient too. Will deffo go back again!”

“I have been to the Crown for casual evening drinks while sitting outside in their nice garden a couple of times but never been there for lunchtime or dinner. I finally had a chance to book a table (advisable because I tried to turn up in a couple of occasions and they were always full) and had a fantastic dining experience! Food was fresh, tasty and presented beautifully, with great staff and excellent beer and wine selection. I am looking forward to going back”

“Lovely weekend lunch! The menu isn't extensive but there is enough choice and nobody felt they had to compromise. The kids menu was very good, plenty of options to cater for simpler and more adventurous tastes. The triple cooked chips, these days almost a pub cliché, are worthy of a special mention! Clean plates all around. What more can you ask for?”

“An excellent craft beer bar, just off a main road in Richmond. Lots of great beers to choose from local breweries like Twickenham and Siren, plus a good menu of burgers etc. We visited on Easter Monday, and there was a BBQ outside cooking fantastic steak sandwiches. Looking forward to returning!”

“Lovely dinner at Bacco Ristorante Italiano after an afternoon in Richmond. A small menu that is well executed. The bruschetta with burrata, risotto with asparagus and prawns, and tagliatelle with black truffle were all excellent. The staff were friendly and attentive. Lots of Italian wines. Large outdoor seating area under large umbrellas. Definitely will return and would definitely recommend.”

Pata Negra is Putney's newest Tapas restaurant that serves great food and has a late night bar underneath for dancing. Pop in and say hi to Pepe and Putney Tapas - wish I could leave more than 1 review for Pata Negra as it's always good when I visit, food is delicious and menu always changes based on the ingredients available. Try it, you'll love it ;) still great food every time.”

“Best takeaway pizza in the area. Nice thin, hand cooked bases and generous toppings. I live in Mortlake and delivery takes about 25min. Pic is of the only slice I had leftover!”

“What a fantastic little pub. A short walk from East Putney tube station, it's a sprawling pub over 3 levels with a beer garden out the back. The staff were wonderful: very friendly, cheerful and helpful and happy to chat. The pub was very clean and tidy with lots of seating Including some very comfortable looking sofas. And if you're interested, they show the six nations rugby. I know I don't mention food very much, but the beef brisket nuggets with caper mayo was absolutely brilliant. The Guinness was excellent as was the Wimbledon Brewery's Copper Leaf. I usually take pics of the ales/bitters on offer to indicate their availability, but I forgot to do that have - they sell ales/bitters.”

“Remember when this was a proper pub but it’s now a lovely gastro pub restaurant. Great menu, great food and really friendly warm service. They even asked if we theatre goers and as we were got our food ordered and served quickly which is great attention to detail.”

I’m a pub manager by trade so am enormously fussy about how clean the beer lines are, this pub is spot on. The staff only make it better. Thank you Jake for an enjoyable afternoon! “The lunch set menu was really good value and excellent quality. Loved the Prawn Cocktail on toast, and the Pan Fried Seabass with a lemon and butter sauce, these were perfect and I’d highly recommend them! Also we enjoyed the Duck Rillettes and Brevette Steak buried under a pile of shallots. All washed down with a pleasant Carafe of enjoyable House red, we’ll definitely be back for more again soon.”

The burger was really really nice and very filling (two meat patties) and the Sticky Korean Fried Chicken was pretty good too even though I am not a big fan of peas in rice (it tasted much better than it looks). Will definitely try again!”

“Was knackered after a stroll in Richmond Park. Reached there at around 2pm on a Monday afternoon. Very nice food and pint. Warm and cosy vibe. Heard that it gets very busy in the evenings and weekends, take note if you’re heading there during these times.”

“I used to live here back in the 70s /80s my grandfather was the landlord so my review was always going to be biased . First time back in nearly 40 years with my kids. The pub hasn't changed that much. Great trip down memory lane.”

“The food was cooked to perfection, we had Sunday roast, fish and chips and veggie salad and everything was just unexpectedly good. Flavors with many layers of spices and textures, quality of ingredients - everything came together so well! The service was a bit slow thought because the place was very busy but the food was worth every second of wait.”
