"A little embarrassing…. Went there a few times. One time we tried to order a bottle of wine as listed. They were out of our first 3 *three choices. Walked in just now, and they’re out of Guinness.. mind you, this is not a mom&pop pub…. The interior looks wonderful and music plays a big part in the pub. That’s good for a star The staff is gracious which is worth a lot, especially when they’re understocked. A saving grace one hopes the ownership appreciates."

"The Half Moon is one of my fav pubs in the area. Service is great, very friendly and efficient. Pints were good. We both had fish and chips which was very nice. It is also famous for live music and we have been to a few gigs here in the past. No gig for us on this visit but it's definitely one to try as it's a excellent little venue."

"We visited for a Cuban afternoon. The food was amazing and the cocktails were too. D.J played fab Cuban music and people got up and danced and enjoyed the summer afternoon into the evening. Toilets were clean and accessible and travel links good. Sainsburys local petrol station right next door if you need it. A fabulous venue. That also boasts a rooftop area"
