Tomatoes and few other vegetables are generally cheaper and better in Krishna store.. Service and staff is great! Recommended place for sure..”

“Absolutely outstanding service yesterday from Tina the Store Manager - I accompanied a friend with advanced cancer (not an easy customer as tired and irritable) with a query/needed refund and cannot express how kind and compassionate Tina was in very speedily and efficiently helping my friend. Fantastic manager in Tina and staff at this store - it was so lovely to have someone deal with a customer in obvious discomfort with such empathy, also ALL staff were extremely helpful and kind. Thank you all so much!”

Resolved my issue right away, very professional and polite - a pleasure dealing with! “Like a few others I am surprised when reading the negative reviews. I can only speak of my own personal experiences and respect those who may disagree. I used to use Lloyds Pharmacy in Windsor Drive as I am a lot closer to that than Rowlands. However it got to the stage where I could not bring myself to go into Lloyds as I would have been rude to the staff, so I decided to change to another provider. Lloyds always blamed my Doctors for NOT sending my prescription which meant I always had to battle to get my medicines. Rowlands on the other hand have NEVER blamed my GP for NOT sending my prescription and have always been able to provide each and every tablet/cream/injections, you name it, they get it in. Sometimes I have had to wait a few extra days but this is NOT Rowlands fault as they can only dispense what they have in stock. Most people are unaware there are currently issues getting supplies in and this is not going to end anytime soon. Can you imagine having to stock every kind of medication, the shop would have to be the size of a football pitch, so don't get upset if they don't have what you want. To end this little rant, I can honestly say that I have always found the staff at Rowlands helpful and friendly. I am a person who gives as good as I get and a lot more, but honestly, I've never had a bad experience with them. The staff are there to provide us with a service. If we find they have not got what you want, give them time to explain why and politely ask the questions you have, without losing your temper or being rude. We need to give each other a chance. Just think of those who do not have the services we often take for granted. I feel fortunate to have what we have and thank all those who provide us with these services.”

“Brilliant local convenience store, more like a mini supermarket really. Wide range of Caribbean, Asian, Turkish etc products and seasonings. Great fresh herbs and decent fresh produce. Their meat is excellent quality too and the shop is very, very clean. Customer service is wonderful and they have great sweets, chocolate, ice cream and booze too . Pia accept card and cash you can't really go wrong. If you pop in you won't be disappointed.”

Don't see the manager on the floor much, seen him once in the year or so I've been coming here, that was to open a till when they were busy, although the lady did have to ring 4 or 5 times lol very happy with the shop, enjoy coming here to shop. “I went in to Iceland today, my ms was giving me trouble so was draining to shop and get buses. Some angel of a lady who works there I think her name is Laura but not 100 percent noticed I wasn't right plus noticed I was upset and this beautiful human being offered to pay for a cab for me , what a kind caring and compassionate lady we had a moment and I will never forget her heart. I declined the cab but the amazing man who stands by the door pushed my trolly to the bus stop. I jst want to say thankyou I Will remember your empathy and kindness and just want to let you know your both amazing ❤️”
